The perfect holiday home for nature lovers, set within 35 acres of parkland. An ideal base for walkers in pursuit of an abundance of wildlife and walks on the doorstep.

Escape to this rural retreat in the Brecon Beacons National Park, where the natural beauty of the local area speaks for itself. Nestled amongst the lush Welsh countryside, this property allows you and your close family and friends to immerse yourselves in the rural tranquillity and enjoy quality time together. Sleeping eight people over four bedrooms, there is plenty of space for everyone to relax, making it a great choice for that special family holiday/reunion. With miles of walking and cycling trails on your doorstep that meander through the Twyi Valley, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to walks in the country. Despite the relative seclusion, the bustling market town of Llandeilo is only 3.5 miles away with its independent shops and range of eateries.

Sympathetically renovated, this wonderful barn conversion blends natural materials with contemporary fixtures and fittings to create a special property where you and your loved ones will feel at home. On entering the property, you’ll find yourself in the hallway that leads into the handy utility room – the perfect place for muddy boots and wet coats. Moving on, you’ll come to the large, well-equipped kitchen/diner, where you’ll find everything you’ll need to cook up some treats. From here, head through into the spacious, open-plan lounge/diner. At the heart of the lounge is a large stone fireplace that houses a wood burner, which makes it warm and snuggly of an evening, whilst the dining area has plenty of seating to ensure you can enjoy special meals together. Heading upstairs, there is a mezzanine area above the lounge where you’ll find all four well-presented bedrooms: a super-king-size master with an en-suite bathroom, two king-size rooms and a twin room. A family bathroom completes this floor. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with a decking area for al fresco dining against the spectacular countryside backdrop. There’s also ample parking for three cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Perfect for a holiday away from it all. Local amenities accessible by car and foot, be aware its all uphill coming back! Lovely little town with some quirky shops. Barn was very comfortable for 8 adults, a baby and a dog. Loved being able to all sit round the table at mealtimes. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Lovely grounds and amazing dark skiesRead more. The whole family enjoyed this stay. The accommodation is spacious and well designed and adults, children and dogs were all happy. We particularly liked the outside space as it was completely enclosed and safe for children and pets. The bbq was also appreciated. The walks directly from the back gate were a huge bonus and very beautiful.

We enjoyed the week in Teilo Barn. It was comfortable and very spacious. The dog loved the garden! There was a lot to do round and about and a day at the seaside is easily do-able. The Brecon Beacons National Park is fantastic. However, there weren't great dog walks straight from the barn, you need to drive out really. Llandeilo was lacking in eatiRead moreng places. We liked the new cafe Diod and 139. You need to drive out for evening meals. But it had nice boutique shops. Watch out for opening times! Hide

Amazing location and very peaceful. Garden is great for dogs however if you have a smaller dog be careful as mine could climb through the gates really easily (10kg cavapoo) and loved to try and find the neighbours cat. There are horses in the field right next to the garden and they come to say hello every day which is amazing (dog loved this too!).Read more Inside is spacious and upstairs is nicely renovated. Only let down upstairs is the super king bed is actually 2 singles pushed together. Hide

The cottage has received some bad reviews in the past but that was down to previous ownership. The cottage has new owners and has had a new lease in life, the living space is fantastic and upstairs has been renovated to an amazing standard. On a nice day, sitting outside on the well-kept lawn having a BBQ the horses could come and pay you a visit, Read morehighly recommended to get away from the rat race and just switch off. Hide
