An enticing, four-bedroom apartment set within an imposing, Victorian Lakeland house, perfectly positioned for the many attractions of Keswick, including Derwentwater.

Treat yourselves to a holiday to remember in this beautifully presented and extremely generous apartment at the heart of the Cumbrian town of Keswick in the Lake District. Sleeping up to eight people, plus one of their canine companions, the four-bedroom, three-storey property offers sumptuous and stylish accommodation. Make the most of its exceptional position to browse the town’s independent outlets, shop for local produce and choose between an array of different pubs, cafes and restaurants for eating out. Book seats at the Theatre by the Lake for your party of family or friends, wander around the museums and arrange a lake cruise out on Derwentwater. Some members of your group might also like to hire canoes or kayaks and paddle off together for an afternoon, or even try windsurfing. Make day trips out from Keswick to explore the scenic Lake District.

Open the door and let yourselves in to the shared hall and then climb the staircase to discover your bright, inviting accommodation. Find a good-sized kitchen, with generous space for storing and preparing your holiday food, and a table where you can relax with a quiet cup of coffee and your book after popping dinner in the oven. When dinner is ready, carry it through to the lounge/diner to serve up at the table. Wander over the sofa afterwards and unwind in front of the fire. Discuss your plans for the following day, watch a DVD, or find a film on the TV with Freesat or Roku. Also at this level, are the family bathroom and the shower room, plus a useful utility room, housing a washer/dryer. As day turns to night, climb the stairs to enjoy a good sleep in either a double room, a twin or a king-size room on the second floor of the building. Discover a roomy king-size bedroom, with a low sloping ceiling, on the floor above. Wake up in this beautiful space to impressive views out over Keswick towards the fells.

Plan all manner of exciting walks from Keswick. Take an easy 1.5-mile stroll out to see the famous Castlerigg Stone Circle. Follow the 6-mile route from the town out to Threlkeld, which follows the route of a former railway line. Undertake the more challenging 10-mile circuit of Derwentwater. Venture 5 miles from Keswick to climb Skiddaw, the sixth highest mountain in England. Take a lake launch on Derwentwater and hop off at High Brandelhow to climb up to Catbells, renowned for its impressive views. Disembark at Lodore to see the waterfall. Make the 5-mile journey out of Keswick to visit Whinlatter Forest Park, with its wonderful walks, children’s play area and high ropes course.

We had a great holiday at Sulas Loft - very comfortable accommodation & close to lots of fun activities, shops, restaurants etc in Keswick. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Very well equipped cottage accommodation in the middle of Keswick easy access to the town centre and to Derwentwater. Ideal for a family of five or six with grown up kids Great washing and drying facilities So important in this part of the country Well equipped Kitchen and excellent amounts of hot water. The apartment was perfect for us, very spacious and was really well equipped. The kitchen is spacious and plenty of storage space and fridge space. We did a lot of cooking and found everything we needed. The bedrooms are a great size and the beds were all really comfortable. The living area is really sociable and just very thought through for groupRead mores. I know Keswick well and love this location for the park and town. I am going to book our next break here asap! Great location. Very clean and well equipped home. Parking was not a problem during our stay(February half term) Plenty of space and comfortable for 8 adults to stay. We stayed for a weekend, but would be great for a longer stay too.

This is very high standard accommodation, spotless clean, comfy beds very well equipped, location was perfect although no parking did find spaces close by, definitely recommend and visit again!

Sulas Loft is located in a fantastic setting, just minutes walk from the centre of Keswick. In addition, the location means that from both sides of the property the views are spectacular and wonderful to wake up to. A very well furnished house which we loved. Everything we needed was provided and everything had been thought of. We booked it to take our children and grandchildren and it was nice and spacious. Well located for the town. Although no dedicated parking we always found a space near by on streets that are not disc zones. Overall very pleased and would return for another visits for sure.
