Sleeping up to eight guests and three dogs, this spacious property is bright and airy with a subtle coastal theme throughout. Set just off the high street and only 0.5 miles to the beach, there’s no need to jump into multiple vehicles to explore the area. You can simply stroll out from your front door and enjoy the shops, restaurants, cafes, and attractions of this popular seaside resort. But should you wish to venture further afield, it makes a great base for exploring the Isle of Purbeck and the Jurassic Coast.

Arranged over three storeys, this four-bedroom property offers a true home away from home. Step through the front door and into a welcoming hallway, where there’s space to store shoes and bags. With its big bay window, the lounge is a cosy and inviting room, with an assortment of comfortable seating, a Smart TV and a fireplace. The contemporary galley-style kitchen is light and bright, with plenty of space to rustle up family favourites before gathering around the family dining table to share good food and conversation. A door leads outside to the enclosed courtyard garden, where you can fire up the BBQ on sunny days, or just enjoy a morning cuppa or evening drink in the salty sea air. The four bedrooms are spread over the first and second floors, with a bunk room, king-size and a double on the first floor, and a twin beneath the eaves. However, with only one bathroom, you’ll need to be organised in the mornings!

Located on the Isle of Purbeck and at the easterly edge of the Jurassic Coast, Swanage is a traditional seaside town with a lovely beach, an iconic steam railway, and plenty of nature all around. With its gently sloping sands and clear water, the beach offers traditional seaside fun with safe swimming and lots of amusements and beach cafes. For the ultimate day out, hop on the Swanage Railway to enjoy the landscape of the Isle of Purbeck and visit Corfe Castle (5.5 miles). It’s less than a mile to Durlston Country Park and Nature Reserve, where you can walk the cliff-top path to the lighthouse, observing birds and other wildlife along the way, or 3.5 miles in the opposite direction to see Old Harry Rocks. Alternatively, hop in the car to visit Lulworth Cove (17 miles) or Durdle Door (18 miles), two popular destinations along the Jurassic Coast.

Nice and comfortable house., close to town and beach. Would be good to have an extra toilet for the number of bedrooms. Our biggest problem was the parking. We had two cars and it was difficult to find on road parking spaces.

A very nice big house, great for a big family. Walking distance to the shops and beach. Parking can be bad,as not much room in the road.

We had a family holiday 6 adults, 3 babies under 3 and 2 dogs. Well equipped cottage for adults and children. Outside parking limited but very easy to unload and park cars in car parks 3.20 for the weekend. Town centre and sea front easy walking distance. Boys loved the steam trains and building sandcastles.

Overall very pleasant holiday had by all ages 2- 84 no problems with the property very easy access to all aspects of swanage, parks beaches shops etc, nice friendly toot from the steam railway during the day ideal very dog friendly shops in the town

A lovely comfortable cottage and only 10 minutes walk from the beach, what could be better. Everything we needed was there. We had a great stay. Perfect for anyone with dogs particularly outside of the May to September dog beach ban. There are loads of places within easy reach so lots to do without lots of driving.

It is a lovely house, well-equipped and in a fantastic location, closer to the beach and the high street. We had a really comfortable stay and holiday. 1 extra toilet would have been perfect!

Lovely house in great location, had all the amenities for a relaxing holiday. Kitchen had plenty of tableware if you were eating in. & house could easily accommodate 8 people plus child. Short walk into swanage with nice selection of coffee shops. bus/train station 5 min walk if you dont want to drive.
