Superb views from terrace. Garden great for big dogs but not totally secure for smaller ones. Downstairs bathroom beautifully renovated (apart from the door) but other areas in need of attention eg kitchen floor. House is generally tired and needs some money spending on it but despite this our family and 3 dogs had a wonderful holiday.

From the initial wow as we approached from the driveway, the property didnt disappoint us & the views of Lake Windermere were amazing. It was lovely to just sit outside (or inside) & look out at the view, especially as we were blessed with glorious weather. The house itself was well presented, clean & comfortable for our party of 6 adults & 1 childRead more. Great location for a relaxing, peaceful holiday. One of the loveliest places we have had the pleasure to stay in. We loved it. Hide

Fabulous views, a wonderful garden for the dogs to explore, and a warm, comfortable house with loads of games and books. Shame it's in need of a bit of TLC to make it a real home from home.

Where the property has been renovated it had been done to a good standard but the property generally needs updating, the upstairs bathroom was poorly ventilated and the walls were black as were the shower fittings. The views were lovely and location quiet. This property could be great if it was updated. The garage was useful for wet gear and storagRead moree. Hide

A great holiday house for a family or group to get together for a holiday or reunion. Wonderful position with a fabulous view of Lake Windermere. Only a short walk to two pubs for an evening drink or meal. A shot drive to local amenities. We had a wonderful holiday and were so lucky with the weather. Would definitely book again

Location is fantastic with amazing views , fantastic garden space for dogs to stretch their legs and ample parking. Plenty of space for all the family. Downside being it is starting to look dated. If the renovations where carried out we would certainly stay again and recommend but until that happens will be looking elsewhere.

The location and views are why you book this property. Amazing! We had a great week away, however parts of the property are tired and lack the quality of a more expensive holiday let: the kitchen is a bit of a disorganised jumble of nice and tatty stuff, the property is single-glazed. However, the beds are the most comfortable I have slept in in a Read moreholiday property and where they have updated, it has been done well- nice carpets, good kitchen, lovely bathrooms. Hide
