Sleeping eight guests, the Cumbrian cottage could suit two families keen to holiday together or even a party of couples, especially as one bedroom and shower room is within a separate annexe building. From here, plan lake and fell walks, as well as day trips to places such as Keswick and Derwentwater, 8 miles away. Also, savour the special time you have together just relaxing at the house or in the garden or challenging each other to tournaments in the games room.
Climb the stone steps and let yourselves in to discover a wealth of character features, from exposed stone walls to beautiful timbers. Head through to the well-equipped kitchen/diner, which has underfloor heating, to make a cup of tea or coffee, and find everything you need to prepare hearty feasts with your own ingredients.
