Property code: CA279

This impressive and substantial Victorian house enjoys an incredible position beside the sea loch of Loch Goil, where it takes in magnificent scenery and provides exquisite, elegant living accommodation.

Settled between the shores of the loch and the craggy hillside slopes, this stunning property is bright, airy and boasts multiple social spaces for the whole party to gather in. Sleeping nine guests across five bedrooms, it’s the perfect place for a unique getaway with family or friends. You can be outside enjoying a BBQ and relaxing in the hot tub, or indoors challenging each other to games of pool while the wood burner keeps everyone warm and cosy. Walk the shores of Loch Goil, climb the Arrochar Alps (11.5 miles), and revel in the property’s wonderful seclusion.

This is true five-star accommodation, and every inch of the house has been thoughtfully and elegantly furnished. The decor is sumptuous, in a combination of warm colours and neutral tones, and most importantly, the house retains a welcoming and homely atmosphere. Relax in either the drawing room or lounge when you want to spend quality time together, laughing and talking over drinks and snacks. Take turns to prepare meals in the well-equipped kitchen, where there’s two fridges and freezers for you to stock up on supplies. For fun days when you don’t fancy leaving the house, you can be playing on the Wii, watching films, or using the iPod dock to listen to your holiday soundtrack. In the lounge, which is the social hub of this grand house, open the French doors so people can move between the house and garden. Outside, there is a BBQ and terrace seating for al fresco dining, and you can unwind with a soak in the hot tub. At the end of it all, a good night’s sleep awaits you in one of the five stylish bedrooms.

I celebrated my 30th birthday here with a small group of friends and the location and property were absolutely perfect, with everything you could ever need! The hosts were very helpful and provided all the info we would need and recommended some gorgeous walks. The location is truly breathtaking and I couldnt recommend the property more.

A beautiful house and location, but the kitchen is not suitable for the house. We are a family of 9 who love to eat and cook together and there was no storage for food and no work space to cook. The kitchen sink is too small to wash most dishes. Cupboard space is needed for food storage also

Definitely stay here, it's absolutely stunning! The view over the loch is outstanding, there's lots of local walks to do and there's alpacas to feed a few houses away. We had the best week, sitting in the hot tub watching the boats and relaxing in the garden with a glass of wine. It's perfect.
