We stayed here for a week in September and i cannot get over how good it was! the house is perfect for spending time together but also to have some alone time when you need it. The surroundings are breathtaking with the tennis court, ponds and garden space it really makes you feel at peace. A beautiful property in a lovely, secluded setting. The cream tea provided on arrival was a lovely touch, and greatly appreciated. Beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for a group of 8.

Great house, comfortably fitting nine of us. Great having tennis, darts, basketball, table tennis and pool to entertain us on the duller days. Location is very peaceful and within easy reach of beaches and lots of outdoor activities. Owners were very helpful and quickly resolved a couple of issues, which was very much appreciated. Wonderful location, beautiful landscaping ground, and very well looked after house. The only downside was we couldn't stay longer, cz the dates were all fully booked before and after. :)

A great place to stay! This house is beautifully well kept, it's very clean, spacious and well equipped. The location was perfect was us, only a short drive to Bude and it's lovely beach but secluded if it's privacy you're looking for. The gardens are fantastic and we enjoyed walking around the lakes. A fabulous place to stay! The house was very spacious, spotless, warm and very well equipped. There is lots of light with lovely views of the garden. All the beds were extremely comfortable and it was a joy to wake in the morning listening to the birdsong. The grounds are extensive and lovely to explore. Very well located house, lots of windows to let the sun in. Bedrooms very bright and well distributed. Comfortable and welcoming, I recommend this house if you want peace and quiet but also if you want to be within reach if all the beautiful sightseeing all around. The owner is very welcoming and helpful. Very easy with children too.

If it's privacy you are looking for, this is THE property to choose. Totally isolated but only 5 minutes drive into Bude town and it's beach. The house is big but cosy because of the homely modern decor. The heating keeps the house lovely and warm for winter breaks but has a south facing garden (and what a garden it is!) for summer holidays with thRead moree sun on the back of the house all day long. Helen is a great host and you can feel that the place is handled with love. Just to name a few things - super clean, perfect kitchen, but also small things like nice rackets to play tennis, basketball, dart, table tennis. I asked for more logs for the wood-burner and she brought a whole load of nicely dry wood right the next day.
