The pretty village of Payhembury is less than 1 mile away where you can enjoy a well-deserved pint in the local pub and pick up supplies for dinner from the community shop. Kids can play freely in the communal courtyard and shared play area whilst you put your feet up with a good book, unwind and take in the fresh Devon air.

The lounge is warm and cosy with a wood burner to cuddle up in front of, watching your favourite TV shows together. Situated in the heart of the beautiful Devon countryside, you are easily accessible to coast and country. The outskirts of the Blackdown Hills lie just 3 miles away covering ancient woodlands, steep valleys and rolling farmland. A vast array of activities is available for you to try including walking, cycling, rock climbing, abseiling and horse riding, to name just a few. The pretty market town of Honiton (6.5 miles) lies on the banks of the River Otter in East Devon’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is renowned for its production of lace and pottery. A great selection of shops, cafes and pubs line its high street where there are often markets and festivals celebrating music and the arts. Sidmouth (10 miles) is a picturesque town that lies on the Jurassic Coast where dramatic sandstone cliffs cast shadows over the seas below. Perfect for a family day out, Sidmouth has several golden sandy beaches to relax on, or browse the great selection shops where you might find that special souvenir.

This was an exceptionally high level of accommodation. The beds and sofas were really comfortable. The underfloor heating kept us at the perfect temperature and the quality conversion of the barn meant that the property was draft free. Such a bonus in a characterful old building. Lovely accommodation in the middle of the countryside. The rooms are huge and this meant there was plenty of space for everyone to relax and the dogs still had room to stretch out without getting under our feet!

Stunning cottage in a beautiful area, perfect for the kids and dog , the cottage has everything you need with the bonus of Jons farm produce! Sausages where delicious. The kids got to feed the farm animals and ride in the tractor (holiday highlight!) would definitely recommend ! Thank you for having us !
