Lovely welcome from the owners. Everything was so clean and well presented. We had a Christmas break away and it was absolutely perfect. Owners had decorated the table, brought crackers and putting up the Christmas tree, such a lovely surprise when we arrived. Everything we could have needed to cook was in the kitchen, so well equipped. Family of 7Read more of us with 2 dogs and we still had plenty of space and quiet rooms. Fantastic setting and a thoroughly enjoyable place to stay. One criticism is the mattresses on beds were very uncomfortable throughout. This certainly did not ruin our stay but would have made the stay a 5 star stay all round. Thank you Quarry cottage.

Good space for all to use. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. It was rare to have 3 double beds and a twin in a 4 bed property. Good location and good outside space with comfy seating.

Very cosy cottage right next to the river Wye and 2 mins walk from The Old Ferrie Inn, a lovely pub for food and drink. Huge Tv and an extra small lounge. Plenty of garden seating though we were there in autumn. I imagine it's gorgeous on a lovely sunny day. Supermarket 15 mins away in Ross on Wye.

This is a lovely holiday home and well equipped for any time of the year. Perhaps there could be quite a queue for shower / bathroom if fully occupied by eight people - happily there were only two of us so it wasn't a problem. The kitchen was really good so that large family /group meals could easily be accommodated. And having two "sitting rooms" Read morecould be useful too for larger groups. Hide
