The cottage is ideally placed to get over to Fowey. The views are spectacular of the estuary and over to Fowey. Parts of the roads and paths are very steep and challenging so not ideal for people with mobility issues. The car park is located close to the cottage and would recommend that you unload your car there and carry your luggage to it. OveralRead morel, really enjoyed our stay at Pole Pole and it's location. Beautiful location with wonderful walks along the coast path. Do read the directions, you cant drive into the village as I mistakenly did! The house worked well for us and the garden great for the dogs and children. Ive mentioned to the owners that cleaning and some equipment could be improved but it didnt spoil our stay. Beautiful appartement, very nice interior, cosy, view over the river. Situated near the central parking place (less than 100m). Area not so crowded as other villages. Only disadvantage are the beaches in the village, they are not really inviting, but the beach about 2km down the coastline is beautiful.

The photos of this house does not make this lovely house any justice! The garden was great for our dog and it felt very secure. The view from the house is amazing too and we spent most of our time outside on the decking/garden. We had a lovely stay in Polruan, the cottage was really comfortable and great views - Polruan and Fowey on doorstep. There were just the two of us so we didn't use all the rooms, but the main bedroom had loads of storage and great views while having a coffee in (the comfortable) bed in the morning :-). Top tip - it's quite a narrow and bumpy track Read moreto the cottage, we walked from village car park (50m). Car park has electric vehicle charging, but it's very expensive. Hide
