Truly unique eco residence set in a leafy, quiet spot surrounded by trees and fields. With your own indoor pool and garden room, you’ll never want to leave and discover the delights of West Wales

Groups of eight are welcome at this stunning four-bedroom eco property situated in a secluded location where you can really get back to nature. The house boasts a fantastic heated indoor pool, ideal for swimming lengths or enjoying some pool games together. Travel just 4 miles to the market town of Llandeilo, sitting on the cusp of the Brecon Beacons National Park, and find shops, restaurants and bars.

This superb eco home has been thoughtfully designed to be practical and stylish while helping the environment too. It’s also a great property for socialising, with an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner perfect for preparing, cooking, cleaning and eating food together as a group. Fire up the wood burner in the lounge area and cosy on down after a busy day exploring; the floor-to-ceiling windows have been designed to not only allow light in but also to reflect the heat back into the house, for extra warmth all year round. Head to the garden room, a space that is home to plenty of plants and, with large doors opening up onto the lawn, it really connects the inside and the outside. An indoor pool is heated year-round; it’s chemical free and filtered completely organically by the plants surrounding the pool. A double bedroom, WC and separate shower room complete the downstairs, and the door from the hallway can be locked to create a private suite. Two separate staircases lead up to the other three bedrooms. One bedroom has a balcony and separate bathing facilities, while the other two bedrooms share a family bathroom. Outside, the large garden has garden furniture, a lawn area and BBQ, ideal for enjoying a meal al fresco as the sun sets. Four cars can park at the front of the property. Guests will also be provided with a luxury welcome pack from the owners on arrival.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Staying in an eco house is an experience in itself, very interesting. Loved the fact our water came from a spring. Beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed the pool every day, Great BBQ which we used a couple of time. Great facilities, Mike and Dilys were great hosts. Everyone enjoyed the holiday. A lovely family home, with lots of interesting features. The garden room and garden are beautiful spaces. The pool is a good size and not too deep (1m approx). The location is quiet, but is only 15mins drive to the centre of Llandeilo, which has a great range of independent shops and places to eat, as well as a couple of small supermarkets. Really nice stay in beautiful surroundings. An hour to Tenby and similar journey to other places we visited but only really noticed this because we had our 4 grandchildren with us, the drive out was beautiful and roads are very good. Our grandchildren really loved the pool and playing games in what they called the garden room

This is a property to get away from everything to read and swim. This is NOT the place to stay if you like clean, simple lines, constant Wi-Fi access & we got no phone signal. Quirky and full of personal items, we used this as a base to explore South Wales. This is a really special place. We absolutely loved the property: the ethos, the environment, the sense of space. You should be aware that this is a hand built house with a wonderful eccentricity and lots of stories that was constructed and lived in by an architect and his family - not a modern "sterile" holiday let. We had a brilliant week in this fantastic, quirky cottage with so much personality. The location was so peaceful and the sound of the river nearby was very relaxing. This is a beautiful cottage set in the depths of the Welsh countryside. The property is an evident labour of love, with the owners building it out of reclaimed materials, resulting in tremendous charm (at times sacrificing practically). The pool made the holiday for our kids. Thanks for a lovely holiday.

Comfortable and cosy. We loved the quirkiness of the cottage with the modern twist of an indoor pool. We loved the eco features which helped keep us warm especially once we'd mastered the fire. Enjoyed our getaway, peace, quiet and cosiness

The owners were very welcoming and showed us around. The welcome hamper can only be described as luxury. The cottage was comfy and cosy and the heated swimming pool was nice to jump into.
