Exuding style with large rooms throughout and gorgeous original features; an excellent base from which to explore and to come home to at the end of the days adventures.

Boasting a truly remote location and far-reaching countryside views, this delectable period property will make your next getaway an unforgettable one. Complete with space for eight guests and two dogs, the property lends itself perfectly to an oversized group of friends or extended family hoping to get away from it all and enjoy some peace in the Cumbrian countryside. Located on a working farm with the owner’s property just moments away, the undisturbed atmosphere of this countryside farmhouse offers the ideal stay for any holidaymakers eager to experience the quietness and tranquillity of a holiday in the heart of Northern England. Set off on foot or two wheels to discover endless routes all around you or jump in the car to adventure in the North Pennines AONB or Lake District National Park further afield.

Lovingly decorated with a neutral colour scheme that’s flooded with natural light, this property has been thoughtfully updated to create an entirely relaxing place to stay. If your family loves to come together over a hearty meal and quality chat then look no further than the open-plan kitchen/diner, a generous area with a spacious dining table that comfortably sleeps eight. Let the group’s budding chef make full use of all the appliances in the kitchen, perhaps working their magic with locally sourced Cumbrian produce. Similarly spacious is the grand lounge, complete with comfortable sofas and a wood burner for adding warmth and a cosy ambience to the area. Once well-fed, warmed up and ready for bed, find four bedrooms laid out across both the ground and first floor. Featuring zip-and-link beds in the two downstairs bedrooms, this accommodation can be made versatile to suit your every need. Finally, completing the accommodation’s offering is a suntrap garden that’s enclosed and set to lawn. We couldn’t think of a better space to spend summer evenings relaxing with children and pets playing nearby.

An absolutely beautiful, peaceful property within easy distance of the Lakes and moors. Very comfortable and well-equipped, and absolutely huge rooms. There were only 4 of us, but it would easily accommodate 8 in ample space.
