Beautiful, well equipped cottage in a brilliant location! My family consisted of five adults, one child, two French bulldogs and a Cockapoo We spent four days over the new year here and it didn't disappoint. The cottage was lovely and warm, with plenty of room for us all to relax in. The pub next door was great, we had our tea in there the one nighRead moret and we were able to take our dogs with us which is bonus. We will very much like to return here, we loved it! Great location and nice warm house. Great for a family get away. Nice pub next door and perfect for a fishing and steam train family! Two ensuite bathrooms have wet room showers which is not my preference but it serves a purpose. Village shop 20 minutes walk is well stocked for essentials.

Rented the cottage for a surprise 60th family get together. With 4 bedrooms (and plenty of Bath/wet rooms), sleeping 8 was comfortable and the kitchen was an ideal place to gather around the large table. Great setting with the steam trains and river on the door step. Pub next door with wonderful food. Some lovely walks in the country park. Plenty of room for the 6 of us and our 3 dogs. Really cosy with the log burner in the evening.

We really enjoyed our holiday here, the house is very comfortable and the outside space is perfect for entertaining. We had a great time exploring along the river with our little dog and a trip on a steam train to Bridgnorth was extra special and wonderfully convenient with highley station at the end of the garden! Would highly recommend

We really enjoyed our stay here, the rooms were comfortable and sufficient space for our family. And the weather enabled us to really make the most of outside deck space in the garden in a relaxed setting which was a bonus. A good place for a break away from busy lives and an ideal place for some train spotting on Severn valley railway.

A wonderful family weekend at Old Ship Cottage. Lovely house but the lounge would have been cosier if it had cushions on the sofas. I took cushions off the kitchen settle and into the lounge. As well as the deck area where we enjoyed a meal outside, there is a lawn which the children could run around on. Lots of interest and activity - with the steRead moream railway at the end of the garden, the river at the end of the drive, and beautiful country park nearby. No need to drive anywhere else! Hide
