It’s the perfect base for family gatherings and get-togethers with friends, sleeping eight guests across four bedrooms. The property was designed with entertaining in mind, with a choice of indoor and outdoor dining areas, as well as a fabulous games room complete with its own bar. The area is a haven for walkers, with the Dales Way passing through the village, and you’ll also be just 16 miles from the fascinating ancient town of Skipton.

The stone barn conversion has a reverse-level layout to really make the most of the spectacular views across the Yorkshire countryside. With a clever combination of original features and contemporary design, coupled with vibrant pops of colourful soft furnishings, the property has a truly unique style. A spacious entrance hall, with ample room for all your outdoor gear, leads to the two ground-floor bedrooms – a king-size and a twin, both sharing a downstairs bathroom. Upstairs, the piece de resistance awaits: a stunning lounge with an impressive, vaulted ceiling, roaring wood burner, and far-reaching countryside views. It’s the perfect place for enjoying quality time together, sharing stories, watching films, and playing board games. Also on this floor is the sleek kitchen, with everything you need to cater for the group, plus a central island with breakfast bar-style seating for informal dining. If you’re hosting a dinner party or formal gathering, head downstairs to the stunning dining room, which has a table to seat all eight guests. There are two bedrooms on the first floor – a king-size with a Smart TV and a super-king-size with a private balcony. You’ll also find another bathroom on this level. Heading outside, discover a mature, enclosed garden, with a patio for al fresco dining and a lawn where children and dogs can play. Completing the property is a fantastic games room where you can while away the evenings playing on the multi game table and socialising at the full-size bar in the glow of the wood burner. There is a garage to store bikes and private parking for two cars.

A well equipped house in a lovely location nearby a superb pub. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for 8 people over the Xmas break. The beds and sofa were comfortable and we enjoyed the games room. The dining room is off the games room. We had some problems which although sorted quickly should have been picked up by the property managemeRead morent company ahead of our arrival. Saying that, it wouldn't put us off staying again as I'm sure that they will have taken our feedback on-board. Hide

We had a great stay at Oak Barn, which is situated in a brilliant location. It was perfect for walking from the door, with lots of public footpaths and the Dales Way close by. The cottage was lovely so peaceful and location is great for walks. The beds were really comfortable and felt very luxurious had a lovely sleep while there. I would say only think is water pressure downstairs made showering a little longer, but the upstairs bathroom was lovely and again had a luxurious feel to it. We would definitely stay again.

Really great property in a fabulous location. Really well equipped. Only improvements would be to make sure there was hand soap in all bathrooms, washing up liquid would be useful and so would the welcome logs that were missing. The games room was fantastic except no table tennis balls. We had to drive to Grassington to buy some.

Thank you for providing towels. As we were a last minute booking, we had to stop and buy towel sets for 6 people as everyone was travelling there from different UK locations. This was based on the information that we had to provide our own towels which we didnt need to and was an additional purchase not needed. We also didnt have the email with codRead moree for key safe.
