Positioned at the heart of the countryside, you’ll be based just 1 mile from the heart of Chulmleigh, a bustling community surrounded by glorious countryside yet not too far removed from North Devon’s most popular towns and villages. There’s a golf course and riding stables within the vicinity, plus a takeaway restaurant and pubs. The Little Dart, a tributary of the River Taw, runs through the town providing an excellent starting point for a scenic walk, but you’ll also have the Tarka Trail for hiking and cycling that follows the Taw through to Chulmleigh Forest. Enjoy a day out to RHS Rosemoor 13.5 miles away, marvel at Dartington Crystal 15 miles away or head to the coast and embrace the seaside charm of Westward Ho! 22 miles away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Northleigh. The property and grounds are steeped in history and has been renovated to a high standard whilst retaining its original character. The Cottage made for an ideal New Year family break. Plenty of room for all guests and facilities were to a high standard. Limited parking but didnt inhibit our stay in anyway. Would recommend.

My family and I, along with our dogs had an amazing stay. The house was spacious, clean and so cozy. The garden and hot tub were great too! All the rooms were big and beds very cozy. We had a fabulous stay at Northleigh, a fantastic property with a great garden for our lively pointer ! Katie couldnt have done more to make our stay any better, thought of everything and was on hand if we needed anything. The lovely bread and honey on arrival and fresh flowers was great.
