Heading out of the village, this is a fantastic position for enjoying the great outdoors, just a short distance from the edge of the Lake District, within easy reach of both Lake Windermere and Coniston Water, as well as the stunning landscape between the two lakes with a range of outdoor pursuits from simple walks to more challenging sports such as climbing, canyoning, and gorge walking.
Enter this property into the long majestic hallway which instantly makes you feel at home. Firstly, to the left, is the lovely spacious lounge with wood burner built into the old hearth which is perfect for relaxing in front of after a day’s activities. You will also find a large sofa with along with armchairs, Smart TV and a small table and chairs. On the right of the hall you will find a large double bedroom with en-suite shower room and WC. At the end of the hall you will arrive into the superb kitchen/diner with high ceilings and expansive skylights. The island is a great spot to prepare the ideal meal along with the gas oven and hob, microwave, AGA, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. In the dining area you will find table and chairs with patio doors leading out to the large enclosed garden. Heading upstairs to the first floor, you will find the large master bedroom to your right with built-in wardrobe and king-size bed. Further down the hall you will find the stylish bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. To the end of the hall you will enter the large bedroom which has a triple bunk bed with double bed with single over with an abundance of space with seating area with a sofa bed that can be made up for two guests. Finally, is the cosy double bedroom.
Outside is the large patio area with hot tub, decking and seating, ideal for a lovely evening al fresco dining, which is an ideal place to relax and watch the stars. There is roadside parking, subject to availability.
