The property is ideally located for visiting the coast and moors, and there are plenty of local paths to explore. There was ample space in the bedrooms and bath/shower rooms, but it was a shame the living space, particularly the kitchen, was quite cramped. We enjoyed listening to the ducks on the moat. The garden is lovely and spacious, although weRead more didn't have the best of weather to enjoy it. Hide

This is a nice property. The location is handy for Staithes and the surrounding area, yet has its own privacy. It is well-equipped and comfortable. The central heating worked well and there was plenty of hot water. The kitchen was well equipped and the living room was comfortable.

This is an pleasant holiday cottage with comfortable bedrooms and modern bathrooms/ showers. It is part of an historic set of buildings, in a beautiful part of the country, well situated for visiting the Yorkshire coast and North Yorkshire Moors. The on-site cafe and antiques centre are an asset.

A delightful property, clean and comfortable with plenty of room, that said the kitchen would be a tight squeeze for 10 people due to the size of the table. Easy access to Staithes and some lovely walks from the doorstep.

Some furniture is a bit shabby. Some bathrooms could be greatly improved by hanging doors instead of curtains! Kitchen table is a squeeze when seating more than 8 people.

This was a great cottage for a large family holiday. There is an excellent co-op within walking district. We saw deer, rabbits, pheasants, goats. The walks around are lovely. The cafe next door offers excellent hospitality. Staithes is very friendly. We had a lovely time and the fact that the owner lives next door meant that should there be any proRead moreblems, they can be resolved quickly. Hide

We enjoyed our stay at the property - the living room was cosy and had a nice feel, the bedrooms were well decorated and comfortable. The location was great and we loved the on site cafe. The property could do with some additional equipment - there were no hairdryers for example. The fridge was small for a group of 10 people, and the kitchen was a Read moretight squeeze.
