A delightful property, clean and comfortable with plenty of room, that said the kitchen would be a tight squeeze for 10 people due to the size of the table. Easy access to Staithes and some lovely walks from the doorstep.

Some furniture is a bit shabby. Some bathrooms could be greatly improved by hanging doors instead of curtains! Kitchen table is a squeeze when seating more than 8 people.

This was a great cottage for a large family holiday. There is an excellent co-op within walking district. We saw deer, rabbits, pheasants, goats. The walks around are lovely. The cafe next door offers excellent hospitality. Staithes is very friendly. We enjoyed our stay at the property - the living room was cosy and had a nice feel, the bedrooms were well decorated and comfortable. The location was great and we loved the on site cafe. The property could do with some additional equipment - there were no hairdryers for example. The fridge was small for a group of 10 people, and the kitchen was a Read moretight squeeze. The cottage is very cosy and once it was clear how to work the heating it was nice and warm. The location is very good with various options for activities. The owner is particularly pleasant and helpful. The kitchen is the one downfall and needs to be upgraded and / or extended but we overcame this and enjoyed our stay very much.
