Delightful detached property is set in the popular village of Landkey, and is a short drive from the North Devon coast and beautiful beaches, and provides a great base for families and couples alike.

Celebrate a special occasion or simply reunite with friends and family for a countryside getaway, in this charming home-away-from-home. The property, which sleeps eight guests across four bedrooms, also welcomes three faithful hounds, so your beloved family pet can experience Devon right by your side. Located midway between Exmoor National Park to the east, and the North Devon Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to the west, there are many natural beauty spots and visitor attractions for you to discover, and driveway parking for four cars means you’re able to travel at your leisure. For lunchtime treats and sit-down dinners, head to the friendly tearoom and local inn, both less than 0.5 miles from the door.

Furnished in a warm natural colour palette that reflects the lush environment outside, the entire house has a homely atmosphere. Spend comfortable afternoons in the living area, where there’s a lovely amount of light and space. If you open the French doors, then the long lounge runs straight into the conservatory at the end, making the room even bigger for people to spread out. Flooded by sunlight and with pretty garden views, sit and read with a morning coffee in the conservatory, and enjoy a peaceful start to the day. In the evening, the wood burner in the lounge will keep you warm and cosy. Light the fire and gather round on the sofas and chairs to watch a favourite film all together. There’s also a TV and DVD in the dining room, perfect for casual brunches and early morning cartoons to entertain children. The stylish kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm, and also is well-equipped for dealing with mess so you don’t have to worry: the dishwasher will take care of eight people’s plates, and the washing machine and tumble dryer can give clothes a necessary refresh. Climb the stairs to bed, and sleep deeply and peacefully in one of the bright and airy bedrooms. Outside, bask in the sun in the enclosed garden, while children and dogs play on the gently sloping lawn (approached up a couple of steps). You’ll also find a fenced pond and leat.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Great holiday in a beautiful well equipped cottage in a village location. Easy to reach places to visit of which we did many and close enough to Barnstaple for all your shopping requirements. My 2 dogs had a great time over in the Millennium Park which was just a stones throw away. Would recommend it is well worth the visit.
