Discover the best of both worlds at this lovely holiday home, with the bustling delights of the harbour town of Tenby and the spectacular coastline on the doorstep.

Set in a quiet spot amongst Tenby’s winding streets, your holiday accommodation is cosy and inviting with both social and sleep spaces for up to eight guests across four bedrooms. Pack up your beach essentials and choose from numerous sandy beaches, treating the children to ice creams and a day of building sandcastles on the golden sands. Water sports, fishing and boat trips from the nearby harbour will appeal to guests of all ages, and you’ll have ample choice for satisfying your hunger thanks to the variety of restaurants. Return to an evening of light entertainment, popping popcorn for film nights or breaking out the board games for some healthy competition.

The humble exterior gives way to a surprisingly spacious abode, immediately greeting weary guests with homely interiors and plenty of nooks for curling up with a glass of wine and a good book. Catch up on your favourite shows in the lounge and relax on the sofas with tea and biscuits, or step through the French doors to the dining room where you’ll spend pleasant evenings dining and chatting the night away. Throw open the balcony doors for an al fresco feel on balmy nights, or settle down and dine by candlelight. There is a charming kitchen with farmhouse-style worktops and wooden floors, providing a welcoming space to cook up hearty meals. A set of paddle stairs reveal an additional lounge with a TV downstairs, ideal for avoiding the usual battle for the remote control! Four bedrooms, a shower room and a family bathroom provide sleeping quarters and washing facilities for your entire party, but please note that one of the twin bedrooms features two small beds that are best suited for children. Outside, the flora-enclosed garden has seating for sipping your morning coffee, and parking is available at nearby public car parks.

We had a very enjoyable few days in Mews Cottage. It's only a couple of minutes' walk to the town walls and to the access to South Beach, but the road is quiet. The downstairs space is very spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed having space to spread out. The bedrooms are fine, if quite cosy. The upstairs bathroom is also small, so the toilet andRead more shower on the lower ground floor come in handy (but there is a max height of 6 foot for the shower!). Hide
