For golfing enthusiasts, the property is close to Royal North Devon links course. Nearby beaches with good surf breaks include Croyde, Woolacombe and Saunton Sands, with the fishing village of Appledore, which annually hosts its famous book festival also nearby.

This traditional family home has a spacious entrance hall, a perfect place to hang coats and store sandy shoes after a day on the beach and as you step into the property you will find a formal dining room seating up to 10 with sea views, ideal for family gatherings. There is a separate lounge with a Smart TV/DVD and comfy seating leading to a bright conservatory with further seating and large TV, French doors provide access out onto the garden and patio. The kitchen/diner is great social space with farmhouse table and chairs and TV. It is equipped with a gas Aga as well as a large range style electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, larder fridge and wine cooler. A utility room offers a washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge/freezer and even has room for a multi games table with table football, pool table and air hockey, there is also handy rear access to the rear yard from here. A handy ground floor shower room with shower and WC completes the accommodation on the ground floor. The staircase leads up to the first floor, where you will find five bedrooms, two super-king-size zip-and-link bedrooms (which can be made into twins on request) with en-suite shower and WC. A further two king-size bedrooms with en-suite shower and WC and lastly a single bedroom. The spacious bathroom completes the accommodation, it has a roll top bath plus a separate shower and WC.

Venturing outside, you can relax at the end of the day in the enclosed garden area where there is a patio area with garden furniture, perfect for outside dining, as well as a charcoal BBQ. There is off-road parking for four cars available outside the property.

Perfect location from dog friendly beach. Property warm and welcoming upon arrival with homemade food and wine waiting on kitchen table. Lovely house in an excellent location. All bedrooms are comfortable and clean. Easy walk to the town and beach. A very good family friendly house.

Really great house. Very well laid out with everything a family could want and need to have a great holiday. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful in the lead up to our holiday, and during, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are spacious and the multiple bathrooms are a real plus for a big group. Westward Ho! shops, beach and restauraRead morents a short walk from the house including a small Tesco, Coop, butchers, bakery and a post office. Plenty of places to get fish n chips and ice cream. This was luxury, superb views. Very comfortable beds. Because of covid somethings different but did not distract from this wonderful place, a great games area which all worked.

Absolutely fantastic, after working throughout the whole COVID 19 period , we was holding out to book the children away. We set our heart on Wedtward Ho , Mayfield was everything we wished for and more. Sally the host was thorough and so helpful.
