The perfect coastal getaway for family or friends, featuring sea views, a bustling town and a beach - Whitby has something for everyone.

Sleeping ten guests across five bedrooms, this five-storey Victorian holiday home in the charming fishing town of Whitby is set in an elevated position, enjoying spectacular views across the marina towards Whitby Abbey - you can easily imagine writing a book here, just as Bram Stoker did with his famous novel. Set in North Yorkshire, the property is ideal for families or a group of friends who want to catch up together in a beautiful setting with amenities close by, charming cobblestones and Georgian architecture in Whitby’s old town, and day trips within easy reach.

Take a flight of steps up to the door of this handsome holiday home, where you’re greeted with bright and airy country-style interiors and beautiful furnishings harmonising with period features. Rustle up delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen and dining area. After a day navigating the undulating moors or the town steps, kick back and unwind in the living room with Sky TV and watch favourite films together if you’re not distracted by the fabulous sea views. Catch up on the day’s fun in comfort and style and make plans for another fun day of adventures. When night falls, you’ll find all five bedrooms and four en-suite bathrooms upstairs, including one separate WC, spanning four floors so there’s ample space for everyone to have their own privacy. Outside, you’ll find a courtyard garden terrace with seating, the ideal place to enjoy pre-dinner drinks and watch the sunset. Off-road parking is available for one car, and you’ll find a shop and pub within walking distance, and the beach nearby (1 mile).

A very comfortable house with beautiful views in a great location. In a quiet spot but easy walk to the harbour and shops. The two lounges were perfect for our family to spread out. Would definitely recommend.

The cottage is huge. Perfect for big family. The only issue we had was the smell from some of the toilets. Other than that it was perfect

The house was perfect for a family group. It was spotlessly clean and looked newly plastered and painted. The furniture was pleasant and there were no fussy ornaments or pictures so we could relax about the grandchildren! The house is in a quiet road with great views from the upper storeys and we were amazed how quiet it was when it was just a ten Read moreminute walk to all the "activities" of Whitby. The kitchen was bright and well stocked with large pans, serving dishes, cooker and a large fridge. Hide

Lovely house in the perfect position - close to everything in Whitby and easy to get out to explore the county. Very clean, superbly comfortable beds and living space. They have a smelly drain problem which they say theyre trying to sort which wasnt very pleasant but otherwise we were very happy.
