Having rented many cottages over the years, none came anywhere near Lower Pigsdon House for cleanliness, it was absolutely spotless. It was also very well eqipped too. The house and the garden are superb. Can't find any faults whatsoever.

Minuses: Lacks sufficient cutlery and washing up aids. Bath towels instead of sheets. Dangerous step out of lounge french window (too high, owner advised). Only one bedside light. Extremely clean and spacious. A little under equipped in the kitchen for a 4 bed house. Great garden with stunning views. Farm was very quiet but the campsite next door was noisy at times.

Had a great holiday at Lower Pigston house, well equipped, clean and all you need. The location was perfect for getting to local beaches and pubs. The children enjoyed playing in the garden, which was safe and secluded. Would definitely return again. Clarke family

Lovely spacious farm house in quiet, pretty location. The kitchen is huge and absolutely amazing. Lovely lounge and great size bedrooms. The house was spotlessly clean. A lovely well equipped cottage tucked away but within easy access to Bude, 5 miles away and the A39 to explore Cornwall and Devon. The quite farm roads make it a good location to go for walks or runs in the beautiful scenery around the cottage. The cottage was spacious and easily accommodated 7 people with all features needed.

Lovely spacious house and garden with views over rolling countryside. Well equipped with all we needed. Although we realised that this was a 10 minute drive from Bude, we hadnt quite appreciated that we were in the middle on no where! No shops or pubs in the area, although the farm eggs on sale on site were welcome and tasty!

This is a lovely house in a country setting, the children enjoyed the garden and all the space both inside and out. Well equiped with everything you need. Always lots of hot water so important with 4 adults and 3 children. The beds were very comfortable. The Aga in the kitchen made the house feel warm and cosy for us through out our stay.
