You could also enjoy the snapshot in time that is Chastleton House (1.5 miles) and its fascinating history. Once you've explored the more rural side of the area, you'll be pleased to find yourself a mere 25.5 miles from the city of Oxford, another place entirely steeped in history. The beautiful architecture of the famous university buildings is well worth a tour and will be loved by art enthusiasts. Great property for large groups. We stayed for 2 weeks (grandparents, 3 grown up siblings, 6 grandchildren aged 7-20 and 2 dogs) and had plenty of space to be together or get space as and when we wanted it. Wonderful garden, both front and back areas are enclosed and safe for dogs and kids. Trampoline a nice bonus. Walks from the door up lane or acRead moreross fields with circular walk to pub. Easy access to Moreton in Marsh for cafes and supermarkets. Only downside is A44 noise but you get used to it. Hide

This cottage was so perfect for a big group, we put the tables together in the kitchen and fit 17 comfortably. The beds were really comfortable and spread out throughout the house. The fire was made so we were able to start it as soon as we arrived - so cosy. The hosts left us fresh eggs and a delicious coffee cake which was so lovely of them.

A perfect place for a large party. Lounge and conservatory plenty big enough for eleven children in my party to play. Good that beds could be doubles or singles to suit everyone. Plenty of bathroom facilities. The garden in the summer would be amazing for children.

We rented Rigside Farm for my parents 60th Wedding Anniversary and it exceeded our expectations. The accommodation was really spacious and the flexibility of single or double beds in the rooms made accommodating 18 people from one extended family relatively straight forward!
