Set in an acre of gardens, surrounded by fields and paddocks, this comfy and large farmhouse is a wonderful getaway. The property is well-located for exploring the Cotswolds and beyond, with Oxford, Stratford, Cheltenham and the Malvern Hills all within reasonable driving distance. There is a local pub in the village for those looking for a taste of Cotswold village life, and situated between the market towns of Moreton in Marsh (3.5 miles) and Chipping Norton (5.5 miles), there is a large choice of pubs, restaurants and cafés at both locations. Trains from Moreton-in-Marsh station connect visitors without cars to the major cities.
On arrival at the property you will find a large lounge, with access to the conservatory and views of the garden, and a TV/DVD. There is plenty of comfortable furniture and floor space to spend time socialising, with the kitchen/dining area close by featuring two tables, each seating eight guests. The kitchen comes equipped with a gas hob and electric range oven, separate electric hob, a dishwasher, a fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, and a tumble dryer. On this floor, there is also a utility room, and two WCs with hand basins. There are four bedrooms including a twin bedroom or king with en-suite shower room, another with triple single beds or king and 1 single, leading to a room with two double zip-and-link beds (which can be made into four singles on request). The fourth bedroom has a single bed. Upstairs on the first floor is the remainder of the sleeping accommodation. . The fifth bedroom has three single beds (which can be made up as a king and a single) with a TV. The sixth is a convertible king or twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Close by is the seventh bedroom containing a king zip-and-link bed (that can be changed to twin singles on request), complete with a wash basin. Finally, the eighth bedroom is a smaller affair hosting a triple bunk bed (a double mattress is on the lower bunk). For convenience, there are two bathrooms, one with a bath, shower and WC, the other contains a shower over bath and WC.
Outside , the garden has a BBQ, south-facing decking, garden furniture, and a trampoline for hours of fun. There is lots of room to park off-road – up to 12 cars.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
