An exquisite, four-bedroom country home, approximately 0.5 miles from the village of Braithwaite and 3 miles from Keswick, perfect for walking, cycling and family activities.

Just 0.5 miles from Braithwaite, with its shop, pubs and restaurant, the holiday home is also only 3 miles from Keswick. Spend your afternoons in the town browsing in its shops, deciding where to eat out and perhaps booking a cruise out on beautiful Derwentwater. Also, enjoy your proximity to Bassenthwaite Lake, about 2 miles away, and leafy Whinlatter Forest Park, 3 miles from the cottage, with its many outdoor activities.

Wander into the house via the back door, where there is a boot room, with washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and extra fridge and freezer. Make your way through into the stylish kitchen/diner, with its integral double oven, five ceramic hobs, fridge and dishwasher. Prepare hearty holiday feasts in here or make yourself a cup of coffee then perch at the breakfast bar on the central island to enjoy it. Dine together around the table. Find the lounge is just as beautifully decorated. Light the wood burner in here on chilly days and decide what to watch on the Smart TV. Beautiful house for a big family get together and space to spread out. Well equipped kitchen for the chefs amongst us. Fantastic location for fell running and walking. Would have booked again in the spring but its full already. Enjoyed a great break thanks to the owners for a warm comfortable home.

Fantastic farmhouse that was remote but only 40 min walk into Keswick, this was perfect for us. We were 2 families of 4 with all children grown up in late teens and the house was plenty big enough for us all. We had a fantastic time cooking together around the island on Xmas day and then a huge table for a long lunch. Braithwaite 10 min walk with sRead moremall shop and bars, swinside inn only 15 mins, easy to start walks to Causey and Cat bells. Would stay again. Hide
