Characterful holiday home situated in an elevated position with outstanding sea views. Backing onto St Boniface Downs, this property is perfectly located to explore the island and for finding its hidden gems.

Claim your sunny slice of the Isle of Wight in this gorgeous holiday home. It’s a period property, with a pretty stone facade and rooms full of character and romance. It features four bedrooms and offers impressive views over the town, the church spire and the sea. Take a stroll along the seafront and watch the boats go by in the harbour, before setting off to explore the rest of this enchanting island.

The property is a charming period house fit for a party. Begin in the sunny kitchen and breakfast room, a charming spot for easing into the day. The table sits beside a wood burner and the room leads out via a set of stairs to the terrace. Savour your meal in the fresh coastal air on your decked eating area — the sea view from this elevated spot is stunning. Or, if you prefer a more formal experience, set the table in the dining room. With a wood burner and elegant design, it will put you in a grand mood. Then, retire to the living room and unwind on comfy sofas in front of the TV or the open fire. French doors lead outside and bring the seaside light into the room. On the ground floor, the bedrooms begin with a twin bedroom with 2ft 6 beds. Head upstairs for three further hideaways. The master is a spacious super-king with a glorious feature window. Another double enjoys sea views and pretty decor, and a family room with a double bed and a 3ft single bed suitable for adults (an additional pull out children's bed available on request) is ideal for a young family within your party.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Very comfortable and cosy house, just a stones throw away from good walks, the seafront and pubs. We had everything we needed for a lovely holiday! I'd especially recommend the Bonchurch Inn for dinner, and the lovely coastal path walk into Shanklin.

We had a really splendid week in the house and on the island - the weather was great for us too. The house is so well provided for in terms of cutlery, chinaware and items in the kitchen it was so easy to enjoy. The beds were really comfortable, so we slept well too - in the lovely large rooms. All of us had an enjoyable stay and we all said that wRead moree would like to return maybe next year or the year after. Hide

We really liked this house. It is very spacious, plenty of soft seating plus kitchen and dining room for eating in. I found the hill to the house quite steep as we don't have a car, but there is enough room off road for two cars. Has sea views and also, woodland to the rear which is accessible. There is also the 'ww2 radar station' to the rear of tRead morehe house, but it is a very steep walk. It is a 10 minute walk into Ventnor, but is on a regular bus route. Good access to all areas of the Island. Hide

The cottage was in a great location and the views were wonderful. The upper terrace was great for an evening drink. Whole property spacious and very clean. Had a great time!

The cottage was spacious and well stocked. There is not much parking space, two cars maximum. Internet service was poor and didnt allow for streaming devices which wasnt ideal for the young adults in the group. The cottage is in an ideal location to explore the island.
