The property is set just to the north of Slaughter Bridge, which, along with Tintagel and Camelford, is one of several local sites with strong connections to Arthurian legend. Set on a welcoming family farm, this spacious, light and appealing property makes a wonderful base for keen walkers, nature lovers, cyclists and surfers.

Entering the property, head upstairs to the first floor where you will find the light, fresh and fully equipped open-plan kitchen/diner with its impressive, vaulted ceiling with exposed beams. Providing a fantastic focal point to the house, the kitchen is a pleasure to cook in, with ample dining space for everyone to get-together. A stable door leads to steps heading down to the garden. Exploring further, the warm and cosy lounge features exposed beams in the vaulted ceiling, along with comfortable seating, a Smart TV and French doors opening onto a Juliet balcony with wonderful views. The first floor also features a shower room. Returning to the ground floor, you will find four cosy and tranquil bedrooms, each thoughtfully furnished and featuring wooden floors. There are two double rooms (one with a TV), a pretty twin room and a king-size room with a TV and doors leading to the garden. The family bathroom is also on the ground floor. Stepping outside, the generous garden is fully enclosed and features a lawn and patio with outdoor furniture, a BBQ and a hot tub (from April 2021), making this a fabulous spot for sitting back and relaxing.

Venturing south you can explore Bodmin Moor (5.5 miles) or you can head north to the thriving coastal towns of Boscastle (3 miles), Tintagel (4.5 miles) and Trebarwith (4 miles), all with glorious beaches and breathtaking coastal walks, as well as attractions like Merlin’s Cave, Tintagel Castle and the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic.

Excellent cottage with a large garden and hot tub (seats 6 and is properly cleaned and refilled every stay). Very clean house. Plenty of parking. Easy to find with Sat Nav. Beds felt fairly new and comfy. Rooms are not the biggest I have seen, but the upstairs living area easily makes up for that and has lovely views. Very nice cottage, very spacious and good for a family. There is a decent sized lawn for smaller children and the property does come with stair gates. The lounge is of generous size, three of the four bedrooms have TVs, and Internet is of very good speed. The hot tub is very good too.

Nicely appointed 4 bed. plenty of space for all of the family. Clean, tidy with all the mod cons. Loved the peace and quiet. WIFI was great, so that the younger generation could stay in contact. The owners were super helpful, and nothing was too much trouble.
