The small seaside village of Bembridge is a tranquil holiday location on the east of the Isle of Wight nestling between the larger resorts of Seaview and Sandown, both of which have beautiful beaches. The village has a great range of small shops and places to eat or drink and is renowned for its beautiful quiet beach, small sailing harbour, fish restaurants and specialist food shops. The village is well known for its friendly atmosphere and prides itself on being a real community. Just outside of Bembridge is the National Trust owned Bembridge Windmill from around 1700 which is open to the public. The resorts of St. Helens, Seaview, Ryde and Sandown are all just a short drive away.
On entering this fantastic, substantial detached house you will find yourself in the spacious and welcoming open-plan lounge/diner. With plenty of comfy seating, TV, DVD and wood burner the tastefully furnished lounge is an ideal space to relax in. You will also find an attractive dining area by the French doors which open onto the delightful terrace. Going into the stylishly designed kitchen you will find it fully equipped with a range style oven, microwave, fridge and separate freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Exploring the ground floor further you will find a cosy double bedroom with a king-size bed as well as a shower room complete with a WC. Stairs lead you up to the first floor where you will find three additional bedrooms. There’s another large double bedroom with a king-size bed, a charming double room with views across the garden and a spacious bedroom with a full size single trundle bed and a bunk bed for children. You will also find a bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC. A folding bed can be provided for a child in either of the two larger double bedrooms.
Stepping outside, you will find the rear garden has a delightful terrace with garden furniture so you can enjoy dining al fresco. The terrace overlooks pretty lawns and attractive shrubberies. Here you can relax and children have space to play games. Large wooden double gates open into the drive where three to four cars can be parked and there is a garden area with a lawn and shrubbery.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
