Traditionally styled and brimming with timeless charm, this cosy farmhouse offers eight guests a variety of comfortable socialising spots in a perfectly secluded location. Reconnect with loved ones and enjoy quality time together, reminiscing over hearty meals and good wine, or sizzling something special on the BBQ for al fresco suppers at sunset. Younger guests will adore the seemingly endless stretch of garden, exploring the play equipment and visiting the working farm opposite the property. However you choose to spend your day, the fabulous games room is a wonderful place to gather for a dose of healthy competition.

A stone-clad exterior and authentic oil-fired ‘Esse’ heating enhances the old-style feel of the property, made all the more special by the soothing neutral colour pallet and simple homely details. Irresistibly comfortable sofas line the sitting room, providing ample space for your entire party to enjoy film evenings with bowls of buttery popcorn. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare light snacks or more elaborate meals, best enjoyed around the spacious farmhouse table. The hub of the home is the games room, which has a ping pong table and a miniature snooker/pool table. Climb the stairs to discover the bedrooms, each one thoughtfully prepared with comfort in mind. The family room is perfect for sleepovers, consisting of two single beds and two sets of child-sized bunk beds. Along with a bunk room and a twin room, this bedroom shares the main bathroom. A master bedroom has a handy en-suite that will prove irresistible after a busy day. Step outside to admire the garden and views of the surrounding countryside. Fire up the BBQ outside to toast marshmallows at twilight, sipping mugs of hot chocolate as you listen to the sounds of nearby wildlife.

We had a brilliant stay at Kilbride farmhouse. Very spacious and well maintained inside and out. Judging by the photos the living room has had a recent upgrade with new upholstery on the very comfy sofa and was tastefully decorated. We were there late April so in the middle of lambing season.
