Detached former farmhouse close to many beaches, national trust properties and stunning coastal walks.

Sleeping a group of eight people across four bedrooms, this beautiful stone property offers a party of family or friends plenty of space for a rural retreat to Cornwall. Set over three floors, there are several living areas big and small for you to spread out, a pretty yard and garden, and a total of three wood burners for you to light on cosy evenings spent relaxing indoors. The town of Camborne is 2 miles away, ideal for shopping trips and meals out to celebrate a special occasion.

Inside and outside, this characterful farmhouse is bursting with traditional charm and original features. Bright and sleekly designed, the former dairy turned kitchen is a wonderful space to cook meals in. Change who is cooking every night, to experience different dishes and family favourites. Serving is easy, as the garden room is just through a doorway, so you can sit straight down to eat together at the dining table. With its dual-aspect windows, wood burner, and soft seating, stay awhile after the plates have been cleared to play games and admire the view. Those wishing for a quiet moment away with a book can retire to the snug; the impressive granite fireplace and shelves of delicate crockery give it a homely atmosphere for you to unwind. Choose what to watch on SkyTV in the elegantly furnished lounge, before heading up the stairs to bed. Do mind your head if you’re on the second floor, as upper rooms have low sloping vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and stone walls. The twin bedroom is only suitable for children. In the morning, if you wake up early then recline on a chair in the second floor’s seating area, a great independent space for younger guests, or plan your upcoming adventures in the office area on the first floor. Outside in the garden, bask in the sun on the lawn, discover the water pump and anvil, and peer into the pond. Be careful not to lean too far though, as the water isn’t fenced off.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

A lovely rental, with the best furnished location Ive stayed at. A very well equipped kitchen. Made very welcome by Linda & Paul, we had a lovely week (apart from the rain), with cosy evening in the conservatory with the log fire to keep us warm. RECOMMENDED.

The photos of the house do not do it justice, it's a lovely place to stay. The house worked particularly well for us as we were two families, we could have one floor each for the sleeping arrangements so didn't feel on top of each other. We only wish we had stayed longer!

We had a lovely stay in mid September. 7 people from 3 year old to mid 70s plus 2 dogs. Godrevy beach is not far away, huge, sandy, dog friendly and if you have NT membership free parking. This property is well placed for visiting all the main sites in the tip of Cornwall. Would highly recommend.
