There's a restaurant next door and a pub, shop and beach within walking distance. The elegant hall beckons guests indoors to this beautifully decorated home with individually-styled rooms. Step into the lounge, made for groups and entertaining with a characterful open fireplace, comfortable sofas, smart bookcases, and the latest music and film tech for cosy nights in. For formal evenings, sip pre-dinner cocktails in the pavilion before retreating to the opulent dining room. The well-equipped kitchen has an AGA, while the space that will arguably bring shrieks of delight is the downstairs sound-proofed den which boasts a karaoke machine, disco dance floor and a dress-up room. For those who can't cope with less tuneful notes, there's a quieter snug room. As night falls, there are stairs from the hallway up to six individually designed bedrooms, five en-suite bathrooms, and a separate family bathroom. Explore country lanes and paths right from the doorstep, the old Roman road of Peddars Way is nearby (3.5 miles), a 46-mile route through rural Suffolk to the North Norfolk coastline where keen walkers can carry on along the North Norfolk Coast Path and England Coast Path. For younger guests, there's a popular animal farm and tea room nearby in Snettisham (0.5 miles), and birds and wildlife to spot at Holme Marsh (9 miles) and Titchwell (11.5 miles) nature reserves. For sandy beaches head to Brancaster (11.5 miles), or follow Gwyneth Paltrow's Shakespearean footsteps on Holkham Beach (16.5 miles). For traditional seaside resort fun, head to Hunstanton (4.5 miles), and if you are in need of further holiday calm, visit the aromatic Norfolk Lavender Farm (2 miles).

Spectacular property with excellent facilities, all of which were very clean and well maintained. Location was perfect, with the village having two lovely pubs and some nice local shops, with the beach a short drive. I hired this property to celebrate my partners 30th birthday with our friends and couldnt have asked tor a better weekend!

Wonderful show stopper of house, well equipped and beautifully furnished. In fact everything you need with a party vibe. Great village location with handy shops & bakery. We would definitely stay again. Outside space is as amazing as the inside. I would however recommend more upkeep of the shower/bathroom maintenance and on a more regular basis.
