Located in the beautiful village of Worth Matravers, this property has wide reaching views of the local countryside and glimpses of the sea. Situated on a no-through lane, it is a quiet location; however, being on a path to the sea, it is ideally positioned as a base for exploration of the local area. The coast is only a mile away and the bustling centre of Swanage is 4 miles away. Worth Matravers itself is quaint with a stunning little church and duck pond with dazzling views of the local downs. If you happen to be here in autumn, check out the Pumpkin Festival held at the local pub, where you can see pumpkins as big as tables!

This stunning single-level home has an open plan layout which is designed to make the most of its surroundings. Bringing the outside space inside with tri-fold doors makes the large property feel even more spacious and airy. From the hall with storage for coats and boots, enter into the open plan room which houses the kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Enjoy the scenic setting of your holiday home in the tranquil village of Worth Matravers, with its pretty pond and limestone cottages. Visit the craft centre here and enjoy a pint in the local pub. From the village, stroll some 0.5 miles to Winspit, an interesting, disused quarry, which appeared in a number of science fiction films and TV programmes. The beach close by is popular for swimming. Keen walkers might like to head out from home on the Priests Walk to make the 4-mile journey into Swanage. The golden beach here is also a popular place for picnics, sand-castle building and swimming. Take your party on a day cruise from Swanage Pier to Poole Quay. Swanage also boasts shops to potter in and eateries to dine out in. From the town, take a steam train to Corfe Castle, with its scenic ruins. For a longer walk from home, make the 14-miles hike to picturesque Lulworth Cove, where you can soak up the sunshine and splash in the sea.

A well equipped comfortable bungalow in great location for village facilities, walks in the lovely countryside and 30 minute walk to the coast. 10 minute drive to Swanage with sandy beach. L shaped open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area with conservatory made for sociable family meals and relaxation. A great house in a great position close to some good walks (we were there in December) and we loved the fact that the Square & Compass pub and the tearoom were within five minutes walk. The house itself has a good layout with modern wood flooring. The kitchen is very practical.

A spacious cottage in a quiet location, perfect for a family get together. Plenty of space for children to play & adults to chill both inside, and out in the garden.

Lovely, single-storey cottage in a peaceful location on the edge of the village. The large, open plan kitchen/living/dining space makes it ideal for a group of family or friends. Easy access to the Coastal Path for walking and a short stroll to the popular village pub which serves excellent beer, cider and pies!

Cottage itself was very nice. Good sized bedrooms, comfortable beds, well stocked. Nice kitchen. Lovely garden with patio area and lawned area for games. Games and books provided. Very quiet village but no pathways which was a concern with a buggy so just beware with young children.

Impressive, spacious, well maintained property (although the garden could do with a bit of a tidy up). Very well stocked with crockery, cutlery, linen etc. Overall, very satisfactory. Location isolated and very quiet.
