This house is one of the best I have ever stayed in. The owners have thought of everything. The house is beautifully decorated and so well stocked that it really feels like a home not just a rental property. The location is perfect with lots of country walks that can begin at the front door and larger adventures not far away.

House of Machrie was perfect for our family gathering - plenty of room for everyone to be together to eat/play games/cook and just chat, but also quiet, comfy corners for reading and solitude (and so many interesting books!). The views and rural location are special with sunsets across the Kilbrannen Sound and the joy of watching/hearing the exuberRead moreant lambs from every room. The decor, soft furnishings, bedrooms and bathrooms are exceptional and the whole property is very well appointed. Hide
