Heading back upstairs, there are five bright and relaxing first-floor bedrooms to choose between: a cheerful twin, two twin zip-and-link rooms which can be made up as super-king-size rooms on request, a pretty super-king-size room with en-suite bathroom, and a triple room with single beds and a low ceiling – this room is perfect for children and has windows overlooking the river. There are also two beautifully decorated bathrooms on the first floor. Outside, the stunning gardens extend for a couple of acres, offering plenty of space for you to explore and for children to run and play.
