This superb property is perfectly placed close to the coast Devon/Cornwall border. Well furnished, it’s a great base for families to enjoy quality time yet have space and room to themselves.

With spacious bedrooms and large communal spaces, this property is a great location for a family get-together or a group of friends having a reunion. There’s space to fit eight guests in four bedrooms, with four bathrooms too. The outside is also expansive, with a mature garden. Guests can even start a table tennis competition in the games room.

The property has a feeling of grandeur as soon as you enter thanks to the hallway housing a grandfather clock and a chaise longue. You can sit here and read a book from one of the well-stocked bookshelves, or head through to curl up on a sofa in the big lounge with its wood burner and doors to the garden beyond. The open-plan kitchen and diner is the hub of the house with everything you need to create feasts for all your guests. It features a farmhouse table for informal meals. You can take a door from the kitchen to the rear terrace where you can host a BBQ. Handily, for large groups, there is a big utility room which is home to a pantry too - keeping laundry and stocks of food out of sight. The property’s dining room has a dining table plus a desk if you need to work while on holiday. A games room with table tennis and other board games or puzzles means that you don’t have to worry about rainy days during your stay. The ground floor is completed by a separate WC and a large king-size bedroom with sofa area and an en-suite shower room. All other bedrooms are on the first floor. There are three – an en-suite king-size; an en-suite family room with king-size bed and two infant beds for children up to 5 years old; and a twin zip-and-link. The twin can be arranged as a super-king-size if needed. A family bathroom completes the accommodation. Outside, the garden encircles the property providing plenty of space. A path leads down through woods to the lake - the perfect picnic spot.

Property is set in a remote location, set in some fantastic grounds, with a small lake about 15-20min walk from the house Stayed for 3 nights, beds were great, found it was easier to take a bath in the ensuites, rather than a shower. Kitchen had everything you needed. Table tennis was an added bonus. Mixture of Jigsaws and board games also suppliedRead more. The entire place was really clean, we used the BBQ on one afternoon, we brought our own coal and firelighters. Hope :-) to come back to Hope House. Hide

What a spectacular house and grounds. There was lots of space for 5 of us and two large dogs. Its such a peaceful location, very relaxing. The table tennis table was a great addition, and we did a few puzzles too from the well equipped games room.
