We loved it. Very relaxing holiday with plenty of space and great facilities. Found property and people so helpful. The hoops inn is great people so friendly. Beaches and small villages and towns all easy to get to. Great time thank you again.

Lovely property, would book again. Spacious, secure garden perfect for our 3 dogs. Lovely open plan features which meant there was plenty of space for 7 of us. Fully equipped and good central location for for access to towns. Views across the garden are stunning.

The house is very spacious and modern. We stayed with our young children and the garden was like a secret garden, my son loved it. It was well kept and we loved exploring the wild grass for bugs and insects. Lots to see! The house was plenty big enough to stay together or get lost in your own little space. We have just had a great week. Yes, the property is on the main A39 but we had no trouble pulling into or out of the drive and we werent disturbed at night by traffic. Had a wonderful family holiday. The house was great!!! Modern, light and really comfortable with beautiful views of the hills at the back. It was on a busy road but you dont notice apart from when leaving the house. We were a party of 6 adults, 1 toddler and 3 dogs and there was plenty of space for us to all sit together or have our own space. The Read moregarden was huge. Couldnt believe it was all for our use. My sister and I along with our children and Labrador stayed here over the Christmas period. The accommodation, clean and spacious. Well equipped - no problem preparing Christmas dinner. Went to the Pub across the road on Christmas eve and Boxing Day, great food and service. The owner did give enough information about the busy road so we ensured we Read morekept safe and there is a secure gate. Had our Labrador and he enjoyed the space. Enough parking for 3 cars. Fantastic holiday house in Devon. Really quiet, beautiful location and the house was open plan and modern with a very large enclosed garden space (which all three dogs loved!) Would definitely recommend and would love to go back!

Nice and spacious cottage for the eight of us. Beds and linen comfy. Good supply of kitchen equipment, dvds and books. We were able to log into Netflix on the tv and good wifi. One of the bedrooms was quite damp which was a pity. The location isnt great. We walked to the pub but the cottage is on a very busy main road. Food at the pub was great as Read morecame out cold and was very slow. We found a walk to peppercoombe beach just up the road which was lovely. Overall a good stay. Hide

Very spacious house but on a very very busy main road. secure garden but overgrown & in need of some maintenance lovely views but a shame the panoramic windows had been modified & could not beopened at all Lovely big ensuite but an ongoing problem resulted in a constant vile smell of drains in the bedroom Large bedrooms with comfy beds & plenty of Read moregood storage space The kitchen has a beautiful range but could do with a good deep clean & sort out of the drawers etc. Pots,pans & sofa were dirty Hide

The drains need looking at ASAP. The patio doors dont open handles have been removed. The whole place needs a good clean floors were filthy as were the stairs. If you have dogs you cant leave them in the garden on their own also there is a Wasps nest in the ground. We wont be booking this property again.

A lovely, large property in a good location. We enjoyed being close to amenities and attractions. A good supply of kitchen equipment provided. Beds were comfortable and linen was nice . The lounge windows were fastened shut so it got very hot and airless when the sun was shining. It would have been nice to open the sliding doors onto the decking anRead mored the largely unusable huge 'garden' beyond. The whole place could do with maintenance and a deep clean. We stayed at this property with 4 adults, 2 kids under 3 and 3 dogs including a large GSD. We had a fantastic time. Lots to do nearby for kids and most places are dog friendly. All the beaches nearby, Appledore/Westwood Ho are dog friendly and again cater for kids. The pub virtually opposite Hoops serve local ale, very good food and have a fantastiRead morec beer garden. Property is well equipped just seems abit unloved which is a shame. Dont let this put you off though its a fantastic location. Hide

Large, roomy property and we had a very enjoyable week there. Well equipped kitchen with lots of storage room in large bedrooms. Lots of space for dogs to run at the back of the property. Roadside location was a problem as not able to walk easily from the property and a few niggling problems with plumbing.
