This large cottage is in a superb location in the heart of Windermere town offering a welcoming space to return to after days out exploring the fantastic Lake District National Park.

Situated in the popular Lake District town of Windermere, this property has everything you need for a getaway with the family. The vibrant town is on your doorstep and is a great place to enjoy the many cafes, pubs, and restaurants or browse the shops. Why not head down to lovely Bowness just 1 mile south? You can take a tour of the water via the steamboats or hire kayaks. There are plenty of attractions on dry land too such as The World of Beatrice Potter, Orrest Head and Blackwell House, all within 3 miles. Venture over to Ambleside, Bowness, or Grizedale Forest, all within 12 miles, to discover all this beautiful region has to offer.

On entering this property you immediately arrive in the lounge/diner – the welcoming heart of the house. Here you can enjoy everything on offer from the wood burner set in front of the two leather sofas and TV. At the far end of the room is the oak dining table, perfect for getting together to share a meal and catch up. Head up a step into the compact kitchen with a door leading out to the shared courtyard. In the kitchen, there is an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge/freezer. There is a utility room which houses the washing machine. Head up to the first floor where you will find a king-size bedroom, the main bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC, and the double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and snug area with a sofa and wall-mounted smart TV. Up on the second floor sit a further king-size  bedroom and double bedroom.

Outside is a shared courtyard with a lockable bike storage area. Parking is on street, across the road (subject to availability).
