Refurbished and redecorated for 2022, a family-style property offering comfortable accommodation for eight guests, situated in the North Norfolk village of Langham, just 2.5 miles from the picturesque Norfolk coastline.

Leave behind your hectic everyday life and head to the beautiful Norfolk coast to indulge in some quality time with friends/family. Sleeping eight people across four rooms, this property is perfect for large groups. In the rural village of Langham near to the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this charming home allows you to appreciate the best of coast and country. Immerse yourselves in the natural beauty of the area with long walks along the coast path, boat trips to see the local wildlife and strolls on the beaches. Despite the tranquil location, Langham is close to many local towns and villages, and has its own highly recommended pub.

This attractive semi-detached house offers lots of space, inside and out. With its traditional, country-cottage décor you’ll soon feel at home, whilst its original features add character and charm. Step through the covered porch area and front door to find yourselves in the small hallway where you can discard wet coats or sandy shoes. From the hall, head into the delightful lounge with its comfy sofas and open fire. Across the hall is the dining room where a farmhouse table and chairs provide ample seating. From here, you can access the modest, galley-style kitchen that has everything you’ll need to feed hungry mouths. An adjacent utility room is ideal for storing and washing outside kit. A twin bedroom and shower room completes this floor. Upstairs, you’ll find three more spacious bedrooms: a double with an en-suite bathroom and two more twins, one of which is accessed through the other. There is also a family bathroom.

Outside, a good-sized enclosed garden is great for the kids, whilst you enjoy the garden furniture and BBQ with a glass of wine.

Local Area:

There are plenty of walks on your doorstep, such as the 2-mile stroll to Morston Quay: a bustling harbour offering boat trips to Blakeney National Nature Reserve’s seal colony and beyond. The Nature Reserve sits within the Norfolk Coast AONB and is host to a variety of migratory birds and its own seal colony, making it the ideal place to witness something beautiful and make special memories with your friends/family. The Norfolk Coast Path also passes nearby as it traverses the county from Holme-Next-the-Sea (21 miles) in the west to the popular town of Cromer (15.5 miles). Cromer is a fantastic day out for all the family with its historic pier, art galleries, museums, shops, eateries and crabbing. For days on the beach, Wells-Next-the-Sea (7 miles) is considered to be Norfolk’s best beach, or there’s the long, shingle beach at Cley-Next-the-Sea (4 miles). If you have younger children, treat them to a visit to top attraction ROARR Dinosaur Adventure in Lenwade (22 miles).

Wonderful big house with secure garden We had a lovely week. Not good for walking dogs out as on busy lane but Holt country park is 12 minutes up the Rd and is fabulous for children and dogs.

Very well equipped cottage, beds comfortable in spacious rooms. Garden secure for dogs, although we felt it was not safe on the lanes around to walk our dogs. Ample room for our family 4adults, 2 teenagers. Large front drive with room to turn vehicles around. We were at the end of the season so hopefully the carpets etc will have a good clean readyRead more for next years visitors. Very enjoyable stay. Hide

The cottage is situated in a lovely location and is spacious and comfortable. It is a little tired & dated but overall well equipped with a lovely secure garden for dogs.

A lovely cottage, thats in need of some TLC, carpets need cleaning or replacing. We loved our stay, the dogs loved it, ideal cottage with a a lovely large garden for the dogs to play in and a large gravel drive for up to 4 cars. Cottage is on a bend so difficult to see oncoming traffic, a mirror would be handy at the end of the drive to see cars apRead moreproaching. We found the existing positive reviews to be helpful and accurate. This is a lovely property in a a fantastic area. It is not safe to walk dogs immediately from the house but there are lots of beautiful places a short drive away and the garden is safe. There are still a couple of issues with deep cleaning but don't let this put you off. We were a pRead morearty of 5 adults so didn't need to used the second twin room (accessed through the first twin room) which would only really work for children. Hide

Characterful property, with large garden and parking. Needs updating, as looking a bit tired and lacking in some equipment. In a beautiful part of Norfolk, handy for the coast.

A rather tired looking property with overgrown lawns. Inside looked more like a kennel than a cottage, dog hair covered all the carpets and the upholstered furniture was badly stained. Only two of the four bedrooms were made up, booking for 4 adults doesn't necessarily mean 2 couples! No instructions left for the kitchen appliances, we thought the Read morehob was not working but on day 2 discovered an isolation switch turned off in the rear hallway. Hide

You should also point out that one double bedroom is through another double room, which we made work with the younger members of our party, but may not work for everyone.

Loved it here, perfect destination for the beaches. Garden lovely and private, totally secure for the dogs. Little old fashioned but that suited us, we didnt feel on edge with the dogs. Would return.

Previous occupants dirty towels in pile in utility. Kitchen smoke alarm lying on work top with battery out. Utility room monoxide detector found in mop bucket. Exhaust hose from tumble dryer disconnected. Fault on downstairs shower. Overflow on kitchen sink not plumbed in. Would like to give fuller description but only allowed 400 characters.
