The property has an upside down layout and is situated over three floors. You enter on the ground floor through the large entrance hallway which leads you to the spacious master double bedroom, TV and en-suite bathroom with a double shower, twin sinks and WC. There are three further double bedrooms, one twin bedroom, one bathroom with a bath and WC and one shower room and WC. On the first floor, you will find the heart and soul of the house, comprising of a large open–plan living/dining/kitchen space. The lounge area has a living flame fire and TV with patio doors leading out onto the decking and gardens. The large kitchen/dining area is spacious with a breakfast island and well-equipped with American-style fridge/freezer, range cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, coffee machine and a wine/beer fridge. There is a separate utility room with a pantry. The separate dining room is surrounded by glass with glorious views overlooking the gardens. The large drawing room with TV offers space and privacy leading out to its own balcony. On the lower ground-floor is the games room with a fully fitted bar, TV, lots of comfortable seating, darts board and WC.

 

The beautiful secluded gardens that surround the house are private and peaceful. The house has been carefully considered to ensure the grounds can be enjoyed and appreciated. The large decking and patio are perfect areas to sit and BBQ with friends and family with a glass of wine from your own private bar.

Just beyond the property are the Ochil Hills (5.5 miles), a range of steep hills stretching for 25 miles from Stirling to the Firth of Tay and offering a choice of fantastic walks with stunning views. Set on the banks of the River Devon, the charming village of Dollar (3 miles) has a choice of quaint shops and great places to eat and drink. From here, you can walk to the magnificent 15th-century Castle Campbell and Gardens (3 miles) – popularly known as the Castle of Glooms – which overlooks the Dollar Glen. Golfers will be in their element, with a variety of nearby courses including Braehead (12 miles), Muckhart (1.5 miles), Schawpark (8 miles) and Dollar (2.5 miles), with the famous Gleneagles also within easy reach (11.5 miles). There are numerous other local attractions to discover including Stirling Castle (16 miles), Clackmannan Tower (9 miles), the Wallace Monument (13 miles) and the beautiful Japanese Garden at Cowden (0.5 miles). Also, within easy reach is the bustling town of Stirling (15.5 miles), the Falkirk Wheel (20 miles), the British School of Falconry (11.5 miles) and Loch Leven (10 miles) where you can take part in a range of activities including flying, driving and golf. This is a fantastic house to stay and the pictures do not justify how wonderful the place is . As soon as you hit the driveway you know you are in for a treat and the house is full of opulence . A short drive to local shops and many visitor attractions not too far away . Recommend to stay

This house is absolutely beautiful, it has the wow factor. We were greeted by Toni, who was just so lovely & took time to walk us through the house before handing over the keys. As this was my 50th birthday weekend this house was made for socialising, all the public rooms are large, which allowed us to cook,eat & socialise together. The Bar area waRead mores just perfect for after dinner drinks & cocktail making! The formal dining room was used every evening which has the most beautiful outlook across the Garden. All the bedrooms & bathrooms are large & spacious and are situated down a corridor which has doors that can be closed, so if you want an early night the rest of the house won't disturb you. I can't recommend this house enough if you are looking for a large house in the country but not far from some beautiful towns this is the place for you!! Dollar is close by, we walked to Dollar using the road behind the house which was a lovely walk, we also visited Crieff & Dunblane. I feel this review doesn't do justice to how amazing this house really is .... we will be visiting again!! Hide
