This fabulous property nestles in a delightful rural setting yet with an array of amenities nearby, boasts a lovely selection of creature comforts and has been fitted and furnished in a contemporary country style.

Brilliantly located for exploring its neighbouring Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this pretty property sits just 3 miles from the heart of Taunton where you can indulge in retail therapy and access local amenities. Sleeping eight guests across four rooms, whisk family and friends away to this bolthole for celebratory catch-ups and days spent exploring. Return home and cosy up by the wood burner-effect electric fire or continue spending time in the great outdoors and sit down on the patio for a sizzling BBQ.

Step inside and make yourselves at home in the spacious, stylish rooms. Unpack goodies and fill the kitchen cupboards ready for dinner time when the designated chef can experiment with flavour in this beautifully appointed space. The wine cooler and dishwasher are welcome features, get your tipple chilling over dinner before wasting no time with the washing up. Dine in the conservatory which houses the large table, in addition to a sofa and a TV, or throw open the doors and take your plate outside to dine alfresco. The conservatory is also a great place to gather with a morning mug of something warm in front of the day’s weather report, or meet at the breakfast bar in the kitchen to discuss your upcoming adventures. After long days, spend time relaxing in the lounge where a wood burner-effect electric fire promises to keep you warm and there is plenty of space to cover the floor with board games for competitive nights. If you fancy a calming dip in the owner’s heated, indoor pool, have a chat and make the arrangements before travelling 2 miles to the family farm and diving in. Hit the pillow in one of four first-floor bedrooms and sink in for a peaceful night’s sleep. The contemporary family bathroom has a bath so you can enjoy a soak to start the day or freshen up with a reviving shower and get ready to head out. There is off-road parking for four cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The house was very homely and well equipped. Hot tub and use of indoor pool was an added bonus. The location was ideal for us close enough to the town and main routes but far enough away to have a tranquil and relaxing environment
