The kitchen , dining, and lounge area were great. Plenty of lovely walks around. Heating kept us warm. The house could benefit from some deeper cleaning the water pressure and showers were not adequate for a group of 8+ . The bistro next door Herwick Willy's was lovely, great basic menu of pizza and jacket potatoes with lovely breakfasts . Best barRead more/ restaurant we have seen on a caravan site. Hide

Amazing location, short walk to lake which is ideal for paddle boarding and wild swimming. Whinlatter Park for mountain biking close by and Keswick lovely town with lots to do. House very comfortable and great space for the cost. I enjoyed lack of WiFi and 4G, kids were less unsure!

We really enjoyed our holiday, the house is very spacious and in a beautiful location, a walk to the lake and across the field to the river. The road in front of the house is quite busy and there are no pavements. The house could have been cleaner on arrival and we feel that towels should be provided. Items in the house do require attention, the coRead moreat stand was broken and fixed with tape and the pool table mechanism was broken. Some H&S issues, glass on lawn and screws sticking out of pool table Hide

This is in the perfect location - short driving distance from all of the key areas. The kids loved the outdoor space but the garden is by no means secure.. not particularly good for our dogs. We had a great holiday here, the location was brilliant with the lake only a couple of minutes walk away and so much to do locally too. Very comfortable house, the kids loved the games room and there was lots of space for us all to spread out.

Lovely house but needs more attention. Location good. Unfortunately no signs of deep cleaning. Dead flies on kitchen windowsill. Cake crumbs on dresser plus rubbish under beds and furniture. Lost TV during week. You need to pay for WiFi. Very nice bedrooms, lovely garden.
