Commanding a delightful valley-side position in the High Peak, guests are offered spacious barn accommodation. The nearby network of canals and canal basin in Whaley Bridge offer lovely walks. For something a little more challenging, guests can head up the Peak for the rewarding views of the valley below.

The spacious barn is entered via the main dining room which offers a great space for entertaining and can seat up to 12 people. Stairs lead down to the traditional style kitchen-breakfast area which contains all the essentials guests require. A further flight of steps from the central hall, lead down to two bedrooms. The first bedroom contains a double bed and the second spacious room contains two single beds. There is a bathroom on this floor with a bath, hand shower-over, toilet and hand basin.

The lounge is located on the first floor and is a charming space with a feature window framing views across the countryside. A separate games room with a pool table is just off the lounge. The first floor contains the two remaining good size bedrooms. One bedroom has an impressive four poster bed and the other offers twin beds. A shower room on this floor ensures that guests have easy access to washrooms throughout this property.

Outside, the shared patio enjoys sunshine for most of the day and has a secure pretty ornamental pond – the perfect spot to enjoy an al fresco drink. If you're travelling in a large group, why not book both cottages to accommodate 16 people in total?

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Good location for the area with some nice walks from cottage. Plenty of parking space. The pool table was fun. But if you want a cottage cleaned to any standard never mind PASC - Covid19 maybe this is not the property for you. There was no evidence of cleaning to PASC standards.

Great value for money. Spacious cottage over three levels, located just a short walk from the centre of Whaley Bridge (its up a hill but its the Peak District - everything is up or down a hill!).

A little dated but immaculately clean and very comfortable. We used it as a base for plenty of exploring and it was perfect with plenty of things to see within an hours drive. The children loved being able to go and see the horses on the farm each day - it made their week! Thank you x

A quirky cottage with easy access to all of the local amenities. A short walk to the nearest pubs and restaurants and easily accessible if you ignore the sat nav. Make sure you access Eccles road next to the Drum and Monkey pub.

Fantastic, well equipped, spacious cottage perfect for walking and quilting, fantastic patchwork shop in Chapel. Large enclosed patio was perfect for our dog and sitting out. Loved it so much we have booked for next year.

The cottage is surprisingly spacious, the pictures online don't do the place justice. It is half way up a long hill with picturesque views and is perfect for walking. It is situated very close to the centre with lots of shops and is only a short drive from most major towns and attractions in the area. Really recommend this property - great location and the owners were very helpful, especially when recovering a toy helicopter from a roof!
