Very comfortable cottage and ideal for 8 people. Beautiful mountain views and lovely walks from the doorstep. We did enjoy the BBQ hut which was very cosy on a wet windy evening in October. Certainly recommend to anyone wanting a country holiday.

Just wish we could give more stars for location....the views from this cottage were breathtaking. It feels so remote and quiet and yet easy to travel to so many places of interest. However there are many lovely walks to be had from the front door, including taking the train and pedestrian bridge to Barmouth, quite an experience when the train goes Read moreacross next to you. Lovely cottage for family holiday in the middle of countryside with amazing views. Barmouth is walkable by foot along the estuary and bridge, about 30 minutes stroll. We booked a Tesco online delivery to arrive the evening of our stay which worked well. Owner left cakes for our arrival and teabags, coffee etc. Perfect base for a hiking or cycling hRead moreoliday. Just returned from a fabulous week's break. Superb location, plenty of walks straight from the door and we only scratched the surface. Our youngster loved the beach at Barmouth and extremely dog friendly over the sand dunes. We wouldn't hesitate to return and were all very sad to leave.

Although the cottage was nice with fabulous views it was in the middle of nowhere and you certainly couldnt walk to the nearest pub or beach as described unless very fit and active walkers. TV channel choice poor and WiFi poor so if stuck in the cottage you need to take entertainment with you. Pool table was used but room restrictive and poorly litRead more. There were plenty of cleaning products, towels and bedding provided were very clean. The bathrooms look new and were also very clean. Hide

The large cottage was superbly placed for walking. With footpaths along the estuary, into the surrounding hills and countryside plus across the bridge to Barmouth. If it is isolation you need this cottage has it. With the tele down we played silly parlour games every night not having to worry about how much noise we made.
