Visitors of all ages will find something appealing to do in the surrounding area. Keen golfers will be eager to enjoy a round at the nearby Golf Centre (1 mile), whilst the Smalley Hill Nature Reserve (0.5 miles) provides a great spot to walk. Discover the Iron Bridge just 5 miles away and the River Severn flowing underneath it, a body of water with salmon fishing in the summer. A drive into nearby Shrewsbury (13 miles) offers a lovely day out and a chance to visit The Quarry Park and its castle, or perhaps a trip to the Theatre Severn. Those who prefer the bright lights of the big city will no doubt enjoy trips to Birmingham (36.5 miles). Park the car at Telford train station (3.5 miles) and take a 40-minute train journey into the city to enjoy the night life, shopping and restaurants or jump in the car for a trip to the world-famous Cadbury World (40 miles).

We stayed for a week, it was absolutely wonderful. The owners are lovely and personable. The house was spotless, incredibly clean, all rooms were wonderful, the master bedroom with shower/steam room was a lovely touch! We was a party of 10 staying over Christmas. 7 adults, a teenager, a child and a 6 month old baby and 2 dogs. The whole group had a brilliant time at fairview. The cottage was brilliantly equipped, with comfortable beds for everyone. Our hosts were also very welcoming with great recommendations for the area. We would all love to visit again.

Lovely house in an enclosed safe garden for children and dogs. Well equipped in house and garden. Only thing I would say if you like a walk to a pub for a meal this is too far away and up country lanes.

We all had a lovely time at Fairview. When we arrived the house was very clean and well equip. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. A truly wonderful house perfect for our family celebration. Fairview was so luxurious and equipped with everything we could possibly wish for. Fairview was an excellent choice for the holiday - extremely well appointed and the owner, Vernon, went out of his way to be helpful. He was on hand next door if we needed anything and even set up a paddling pool in the back garden when it was very hot so the children had a lovely time.
