This is an elegant, well equipped house in a lovely location. We were blessed with good weather for most of the week and really enjoyed making use of the verandah to watch the birds and relax. On the one very wet day we had, the house was a cosy haven to retreat to. We enjoyed being able to walk to the Colintraive Hotel for good food and beer with Read morea warm, dog friendly, reception . We walked the old road along the coast a couple of times and were rewarded with two otter sightings. Hide

Had an amazing holiday at Failte, we saw plenty of wild life in the forms of otters, seals, dolphin, curlew, swans and many more. It was so relaxing to just sit in the garden and watch the boats sailing past and count the cars on and off the ferry. The weather was amazing and we all came back with tans like we had been to Spain. We took with us twoRead more paddle boards and a kayak which got used every day. We were also lucky that we managed to book into the hotel in the village 4 out of the 7 evenings. Hide

There is plenty of space downstairs, with a large kitchen with chairs facing the water and the view. We spent a lot of time in this room. Upstairs has 4 bedrooms but not a lot of cupboard space. Only 2 of us, so we ended up using a spare bedroom each to spread our clothes around. 2 good bathrooms upstairs (1 bath, 1 shower) and a further large showRead moreer/toilet room downstairs. Dog walking from the house is limited to left or right down the lane, but the views on this walk change every morning. Hide

Failte Kyles of Bute is a beautiful property. We were blown away by the incredible view and could have spent the week just gazing out the windows. Great location for exploring Bute, Loch Lomond and Loch Fyne. We spotted otters and herons right outside and window and the kids loved splashing around on the private 'beach' area.
