Immerse yourselves in the natural beauty of Exmoor when you stay at this substantial holiday home in Exford, deep within the national park. Sleeping up to 14 people and with a spacious bunk bedroom for children, this attractive, four-bedroom property could be perfect for three or even four families who might be eager to escape together. Nestled within gorgeous gardens, where children can play and paddle, the property also welcomes a pair of pups with open paws. Pull on your walking boots and step straight outside to explore your magnificent Somerset surroundings; venture about 9 miles to pick up the South West Coast Path or spend afternoons on the beach. Return to your appealing retreat to play games, relax and enjoy some quality time together.

Step into the detached house, leaving your outerwear in the hall and make your way through to the inviting lounge. Light the wood burner in here, settle on the soft seating and find a film that everyone might enjoy on the Smart TV. Alternatively, make your way through to a second lounge, which is arranged with grown-up relaxation in mind. Find a table for reading quietly, a drinks trolley on which to keep your favourite tipple and a chess table, where you can challenge your friends. Wander through to the kitchen to make everyone a cup of tea or to start organising dinner for your group, using the two ovens and many other handy appliances. Call everyone to eat through in the dining room, where there is also a games space with table football. Find you also have a WC and laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer, downstairs. At the end of each fun-filled day together, climb the stairs up to three double bedrooms, all with en-suite shower rooms and two with an extra single bed. One of these also has a small kitchen space. There is also a bunk bedroom, with six beds and an en-suite shower room. All the bedrooms have Smart TVs. Make the most of the outdoor living opportunities afforded by this holiday home. Take the children and dogs to splash in the river but keep an eye on them as they play. Light the BBQ and dine outside on warm evenings. There is parking for ten cars at the house.

For a quieter day out on the beach, try Bossington, 9 miles away.

This lovely home more than met all our needs for a large family gathering with dogs. The owners were also flexible and accommodating. Definitely recommend.

The house was perfect for our large family group. Plenty of room for all the kids to run around and play with the family room and table football a real hit. A lovely warm cosy lounge for the adults in the eve. The bedrooms were spacious and the garden was beautiful. Great to have places to eat/drink across the road and a lovely park for the kids.

This was a great house for a big family holiday. The kitchen was outstanding in its equipment and facilities. The location could not be better for enjoying the Exmoor National Park. We all had a wonderful week here. The smart dining room was perfect for our murder mystery party and if you take your chromecast the TV in the lounge is great for quizzRead morees, photos and zoom activities. We were welcomed with cream, jam and scones , chocolates and a bottle of cava which was a nice surprise. The house was beautiful and the bedrooms were really lovely. Kitchen very well equipped. This was a lovely house, the outside space was perfect for us, the little ones ran around and played in the fairy house whilst the older ones played badminton and chilled in the garden. En-suite bathrooms for each room were appreciated , the rooms were comfortable giving plenty of space to spread out. Our first holiday in Exmoor and Exmead House and Exford did not disappoint. The house is impressively large and well equippped throughoutand the owners were lovely. The grounds are equally vast and well maintained. We look forward to returning.

The cottage was lovely. The accommodation was beautifully clean and comfortable and a welcome gift was left by the owners which was a lovely thought. The location was great, less than a 15 minute drive and we were on exmoor.
