This beautiful, detached retreat nestles in the idyllic village of Wembury overlooking the sea from many rooms and the decked patio. Walk to the beach, before returning to this lovingly fitted and furnished home from home.

Boasting sea views and brilliantly sociable spaces, this coastal home sits in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty making it perfect for beachgoers and explorers. Renowned rock pooling awaits at Wembury Beach which sits less than a mile from your door. Enjoy family beach days or walk around the clifftops to Wembury Point and keep your eyes peeled for dolphins and seals which sometimes call these waters home. Sleeping eight guests across four bedrooms, and your dog, adventure the days away before returning home to fire up the BBQ for sundowner evenings or light the wood burner for cosy nights in.

Head straight inside and find yourself in the bright kitchen/diner, the heart of the home where you will spend time cooking, eating, drinking and being merry! Flooded with natural light and treated to sea views, this space caters brilliantly for all occasions including morning mugs of coffee and pouring over a map to plan the next adventure. Get everyone on board to help make light work of dinner time before plating up at the table or stepping through the French doors and dining alfresco on the raised decking. An epic sunset spot, spend time watching day turn to dusk before making your way back inside and into the cosy lounge with its roaring wood burner - the best welcome home after sea swims and chilly days exploring. Enjoy a relaxing soak in the family bathroom before heading to bed to rest up. Sitting over both the split-level ground floor and the first floor are the four pretty bedrooms. The bunkbeds are great fun for little ones, who can wake up early and head into the playroom or run free in the enclosed garden to start the day. If you’re lucky enough to stay in the master king-size bed, rise and shine and take in the stunning sea views before freshening up in your en-suite shower room. There is off-road parking for two cars.

Such a lovely peaceful location. Great views of the sea. The house is very spacious and our staffie loved the enclosed garden. Walk to the beach and back is very steep but the beach itself is such a hidden gem. Fiona, the manager, was brilliant and gave us tips on where to visit etc.
