Treat yourselves to a sumptuous group stay at this splendid Scottish holiday home near Aberuthven, just 5 miles from the celebrated Gleneagles golf resort. Sleeping eight guests, and also welcoming a trio of happy hounds, the stylish, four-bedroom property has been carefully designed to make the most of its scenic, rural surroundings, and to offer luxury at every turn. Soak in the hot tub as you take in the views, enjoy a BBQ with your friends and family in the outdoor entertaining area or head to your private gym to work out for a while. Go salmon and sea trout fishing on the River Earn at Kinkell Bridge, 3.5 miles away, or plan a day out for your party in Perth, about 10 miles away.

Enter the property via the reception hall, hanging your outerwear and leaving your shoes as you pass. Make your way into the chic, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner to unwind together after your busy day out. Find a film to enjoy on the Smart TV, with Bose surround sound and soundbar, play a game or two or discuss your plans for the following day. Head to the well-designed kitchen area to prepare meals for your party then lay the table in the dining area and call everyone to come and sit down. Find you have high-tech gadgets, such as an American-style fridge/freezer with water and ice dispenser, as well as a wine cooler for chilled drinks, and a dishwasher to ease the clearing up in the kitchen. There is also a utility room, with a useful washing machine and tumble dryer, and a boot room, where your canine companions can be rubbed down after long walks. Before turning in for the night, head to the gorgeous family bathroom to have a long, hot bubble bath in the sunken bath. The property is surrounded by rolling hills and open countryside, providing you with ample walking trails directly from your front door. Heading further afield, the edge of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park is 27 miles away, where you’ll find wild, dramatic landscapes of snow-capped mountains and glass-like lochs.

Keen foodies must take a trip into the bustling town of Crieff (10.5 miles). This traditional Scots market town has become a real food capital over the years, with a wide range of independent eateries serving tasty local delicacies. The town is also home to Scotland’s oldest library and an excellent distillery.

The famous Gleneagles Hotel is 7 miles from the holiday cottage. Play a round of golf on one of its three immaculate courses or spend the day trying one of the many activities on offer, including archery, clay shooting, horse riding, and fishing. Alternatively, unwind in the luxurious spa.

Scone Palace (16 miles) makes a great day out. The magnificent fortress is an ancient crowning place of Scottish kings and a wander around its opulent rooms provides a fascinating insight into the pomp and circumstance of a by-gone era. The palace also has stunning grounds to explore, as well as a fabulous adventure playground and maze for little ones.

The vibrant city of Perth is 14.5 miles away and is home to many museums, art galleries, and eateries, as well as the iconic Perth Racecourse.

Great house for our multi generational getaway. The bath was amazing as was the hot tub. Great local dog walks. We never found the designated dog room, suspect it has been repurposed. Only issue we had was being a family of particularly tall people 2 of the beds were slightly short.

Great 3 nights at Earnvale House. Finished to a very high specification. Super comfy beds . Loved the hot tub then into cosy fire. Visited the local pub restaurant, only 2 minutes walk away. I can honestly say this is the best rental home we have stayed at. All facilities were good quality and plentiful. Home was comfortable and spacious. There is ample room for 8 adults, lots of space outside to relax beside a spacious and well appointed hot tub. The view from the rear garden is excellent and very private, the front is secure with larRead morege gates and a nice tree line. Cottage is beautiful and exceeded our expectations for the quality of all appliances and what was on offer . Outdoor Barbecue could do with a clean but who would use a barbecue without cleaning it anyway ? No big deal . Parking inside gated area for two cars , three at a push but plenty on street parking. Lovely home full of tech, youll not be disappointed with the set up or space. Comfortably slept 8 adults. Very private and the hot tub and outdoor area are great. Car charger is set to off peak charging so youll need to plug it in and leave it to charge overnight. The TV in the main living room has no standard channels tuned, its all apps. Very nice and modern house, very clean and had everything in that you required. The big bath and hot tub were a hit. The tv was a bit tricky to use and could have been doing with tvs in all the bedrooms so kids can go on this PlayStation etc. if the property had another bathroom it would be perfect. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Had a lovely stay here. Very peaceful and views from back were amazing. Felt very safe as property behind electric gates this also meant our dog was ok to come and go from the house as he couldn't get out onto road Everything was nice and clean. Lovely big home with beautiful views! House was clean and tidy with plenty of space and things to do in the home. Great private outdoor space to relax! Enclosed garden for dogs and space to park 3 cars. House only a 5 minute walk to a small shop and pub. About a 5 minute drive to more shops/restaurants/pubs. Great area for walkers, 10 minute drive Read moreto Gleneagles and 20 minute drive to Perth. So plenty to do around the area if you want to explore. I would recommend this house for all ages. Hide
