With turrets and towers stretching from the roof, from the moment you first glimpse your holiday home you will know you are staying somewhere special. Follow the driveway through the grounds and park your car by the entrance porch, the ideal place for leaving coats and boots. Keen cooks will appreciate the well-equipped kitchen that boasts a four-oven AGA, four plate hob and electric oven (located in the utility room), fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Rustle up a meal of locally sourced produce to share around the formal dining table that comfortably seats all guests and enjoys views across the garden. Off the kitchen you will find the handy utility room/boot room with a washing machine and dryer for your convenience. On the ground floor, you will also find the first of the seven bedrooms, a bright and airy twin bedroom benefitting from an en-suite bathroom with bath with shower attachment and WC. There are two sweeping staircases leading to the upper floor, one accessed from the family room and the other in the main entrance hall. Ascend to the first floor where you will find six stylish bedrooms, most enjoying garden views. The spacious and airy double four-poster bed invites you to snuggle up under its canopy and drift off for the night. Two double bedrooms have sumptuous soft furnishings and eclectic artwork on the walls. These bedrooms access a contemporary Jack and Jill bathroom with WC. The master double bedroom boasts a coronet bed head and muted tartan bedstead and headboard with wonderful views across the garden. Two single bedrooms are accessed from the master bedroom, one with a pretty four-poster single bed which young guests will adore. The master bedroom also enjoys a spacious en-suite bathroom with WC. A door from the bedroom accesses the rear staircase leading to the ground-floor family room. The tower shower room with WC is a generous room with unusual floor-level window.
With acres of grounds to explore, including shady woodlands and formal gardens, spend your days strolling the grounds or reading a book beneath a sheltering tree. Spread your picnic blanket on the lawn for some sunbathing or enjoy garden games in the extensive grounds. Wake up with a morning coffee on the suntrap rear courtyard or socialise late into the evening with a relaxed al fresco BBQ.
