Rustle up delicious dinners in the spacious kitchen/diner where you can enjoy hearty meals around the large farmhouse-style table. At the end of a long day of outdoor adventures, snuggle up in one of the five well-appointed bedrooms, two of which have en-suite facilities. Venturing outside, dine alfresco in your private garden taking in the views across the North Devon countryside, or light the BBQ for a sociable evening meal. Players of all ages can let off steam on the shared football lawn. Lovely rural location, although it is a working farm it was peaceful during the day and very quiet at night. Cottages are well maintained, clean and cosy. Owners very helpful

Our party of ten had a wonderful 6 day break at the Docton Mill House cottage. The location is tucked away and the last few yards are quite bumpy. The cottage is fair size and very well equipped with washer, dryer, dish washer, hoover iron/board etc. Could do with a shower tap in the main bathroom so the two twin room occupiers can use it. The locaRead moretion is nice and central for visiting nearby locations, Bude, Bideford, Clovelly, Widemouth bay & Westward Ho beaches. Great local pubs & tea rooms. Hide

We enjoyed a lovely family holiday at The Old Mill barn, reuniting 3 families following COVID restrictions. The barn was a perfect size for us. We loved the communal feel of the kitchen with the table as a central point, the living room was ample and the bedrooms were comfortable and airy. A slight disadvantage was that nothing was within walking dRead moreistance from the barn, it took 10 mins drive to get onto the main road. However, there are many attractions/beaches close by. Hide

The cottage is spacious and well equipped. The owners were more than happy to be contacted and gave us advice on shopping deliveries etc. We would highly recommend staying there, though it is rural it is a great location to travel from to the many locations around the area. We would definitely stay again!

Lovely cottage all ameneties and space you could think of ,apart from WIFI access as this was intermittent. Be prepared for a proper rural location down country roads that is would not bring a low slung car to access

Beautiful old cottages. Farm location was ideal for a very interested 2 year old into tractors! Play area looked great but was out of order and football goals need a little TLC.

Great property for a large group. Plenty of space inside and out. The owners were on site and very welcoming. Need to drive to get to places as is on a farm but that was just what was required as relaxing. Great area to explore.

Lovely property with plenty of room. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely fireplace in the lounge. Comfortable bedrooms. Is off the beaten track so no 'popping to the shop'. Is a bit of trek to the main road on single track roads but if seclusion is what you want then this is perfect. Owners very friendly.

Very spacious and great room configuration for 10 people, although no shower in the bathroom, so we had to share between the 2 en-suites. It is remote, but you need a car anyway, so not a problem. Some great beaches nearby. Do follow the written instructions rather than a sat-nav at the end to avoid lots of narrow rough lanes. It says you have to hRead moreire towels, but they were provided anyway. There is a wi-fi code, but it's not really usable and the data is hit and miss - good for getting away! Hide

This is a nice house, in a very rural location so you will need to drive some distance to visit beaches or other locations. Plenty of space, bedrooms good sizes, but bathrooms rather basic.
