House and location bit as idyllic as on the pictures. Hosts made us all feel welcome and checked in to ensure our stay was going well. Lots of entertainment options for both families and groups of oldies like us!

Beautiful large property that accommodated all eight of our family without us been on top of each other. Outside area is also quite large so again plenty of room for us all. The owners greeted us when we arrived to show us around the property and to show us where everything was and how it worked.

A truly stunning property in an idyllic location. Fantastically styled with all original 70s features and exceptionally comfortable and well equipped. Fantastic property in a beautiful setting. Very private and yet only a 10 minute walk to the local pub. The owners gave us (and our dog) a very warm welcome - even down to cupcakes, milk, wine etc. etc. The bungalow was very spacious but homely and the 70s decor was really quirky. They say home is where the heart is and if you stay at the Damsden Lodge, you will immediately recognise that Alison & Tom put all their heart into making this lodge a home for all its visitors. The attention to detail was only rivalled by their gracious & potent hospitality. Myself and 7 friends have just returned from a fabulous weekend at the quirky Damson Lodge, everything you could ever need is supplied. It might not be to everyones taste but we thought all of the original 70s vibe was amazing, it also has stunning views from the huge windows in the lounge, perfect to relax or enjoy the numerous games provided. Such a beautiful holiday home, we had a really lovely weekend at Damson Lodge, the decor is original 1970s and it feels like you are stepping back in time. Beautifully maintained property with great communal areas and facilities to enjoy during your stay. The owners are really thoughtful and welcoming too. Cannot recommend enough!

Damson Lodge was amazing, it was very well equipped and had space for the whole family. The gardens and outlook are amazing with lots of activities, unfortunately the weather was not on our side. I would highly recommend Damson Lodge and the owners Tom and Alison where very helpful and accommodating. I would not hesitate to return.

Fabulous week spent as a family, Damson Cottage is furnished to a very high standard keeping many of the 70s features. Attention to detail is apparent throughout the property. The kitchen is very well equipped. Spent many evenings outside enjoying the hot tub. fire pit & party lights . With 3 teenage girls to entertain there was plenty for them to Read moredo. We , our children and grandchildren stayed at Damson Lodge for three weeks in all , sharing the time between us and greatly enjoyed it. It was particularly nice to be met and shown round by the owners. Every thought had been given to ensure comfort and convenience, together with an ample supply of necessities. Fabulous property with amazing outdoor space. Very private. We were a family with 2 teenagers, taking elderly relative and dog too, we felt there was plenty of room for all to have their own space. What a beautiful house, lovingly and sympathetically restored to its original 70s glory. So unique, quirky and interesting, wonderful architecture and original fixtures, fittings and features. Beds are amazingly comfy in each of the four stunning bedrooms. We had a really lovely week at Damson Lodge with the kids and our dog. Its a great place to relax.
